is ok is ok is ok!!!
you cry a little is good news! means your heart still a little juicy in there!
hearts get better. very slow. but they do.
hands learn new tricks. just you try to hard to make things happen. these things only "let" happen.
you ok. just let yourself be for a little minute. you ok just the way you are. don't have to fix everything right now is all.

yes, you are right, I am trying too hard.
and when I try to not-try so hard, I try that too hard too.
maybe we should have a vacation and sit at the beach where I can't try any trying.

Hey Asti,
I really relate to you.
When you mention the v-square strategies, I wonder how knowing that those things are important can help... Like, for example playfulness - I want to be more playful, but I don't know how to do that? I'm sorry I don't have any clear-cut solutions.
I found this quote. Maybe you'll like it too.
“It’s dark because you are trying too hard.
Lightly child, lightly. Learn to do everything lightly.
Yes, feel lightly even though you’re feeling deeply.
Just lightly let things happen and lightly cope with them. " - Aldous Huxley

that sounds nice.
the v-square is there to define a learning/growth goal. it helps not to enter the de-valueing exaggeration that we would automatically hit if we just tried not to be so controlling anymore.
but as a goal it is too big to do in one step. we need to break it down to baby steps with the goal in mind.
because the virtues might be split between parts within the system it can tell us who our teacher should be. in that case, a Little who is good at playfulness. by sharing more with that Little I can get the idea, like a feeling for it, when before I didn't even have a concept of what is meant. then I need to try my own baby steps or doing it more and improving this way of being. growing it. growing the capacity for it.
Asti, with an active Maya in the background who keeps wanting to explain things, like Daisy, who explains things so well.

Ah, thanks for explaining, Asti and Maya.

I like the idea of having a teacher within the system and then developing it further. Maybe that's the point when you'd need to set "SMART" goals. Sometimes the sheer diversity and quantity of my goals is overwhelming, in a bad way. I guess that's where the "tread lightly" comes in again. Sending good vibes.
