Hi
Xmas went well here. Visitors didn't overstay their welcome so the physical body wasn't so exhausted by the time they'd left.
Kit's bro didn't have anyone else over for xmas dinner so Kit felt she was able to stay up front the whole of xmas day and enjoy some much needed 1:1 time reconnecting with her brother.
I'v been busy trying to sort out a mess with the credit cards, seems the account got hacked and they cut off all online messaging. Kit can't use a phone due to intense phobia's/SM (Selective Mutism) so one of us alters have always had to use a special minicom to contact anyone (of course its easier now these days to contact most people/companies with email but of course they wouldn't accept email for security reasons). So anyway that's finally sorted and account closed and we don't have to pay back what was put on by someone else!
I think Kit's phobia's seem more intense and its definitely related to the menopause. ATM she doesn't even want to come online to communicate as herself to anyone and Kit seems to be absorbing most of the anxiety triggered by the mood swings. I have been able to cope with carrying out daily tasks though I can feel her anxiety intensely at times.
The last few days has been very calm anyway and just laying on bean bags playing the Zelda game seems to be having a calming effect (though it does help that it hasn't been that 'time of the month' over xmas!) Thankfully!!
No where to go for a couple of weeks. Kt's hoping it will snow heavily when the medical appointment is due cos it means ambulance transport will cancel (we're too rural, roads will be bad here if it snows) so we have nothing to do for the entire month other than take the dog out when no-one's about and play zelda!
Anyway doggy is waiting for walkies its been blowing a gale here last night and this morning but wind seems to be dying down a bit now, probably my job today as there'll be more people about by the time we get out.
We're also hoping 2019 will be a better year both mental health wise for Kit and for the physical body which was having a good recovery until the last arthritis flare up hit it a few weeks back (when temps first dropped below freezing up here). Trying to get started back on exercise/physio while its gone milder again!
