AAAAAAgh! If I had the energy I would be very frustrated.
I knew the depression was coming back and I have been trying to do all the right things to keep it at bay, but here it is.
I have spent years trying to avoid it, talk about it, treat it, get to the bottom of it, but I have no idea why it always comes back in the end. It makes no difference. Periodically it returns.
I know why its back and its a response to some life changes which although stressful are positive. But here I am, grabbing defeat from the jaws of victory. Again.
AAAAAAAgh!
Diagnosed DID with a few other states.

I write a list of things I am thankful for. When I have a flashback and my depression worsens I write about what happened. It helps. I try to deattach myself from my depression.

I usually get depressed from november to february. every year.
taking vitamins, doing light therapy, working with the system, working out, you name it, no change so far.
I reduced my goal to something that I can actually control, like how I take care of myself thru the winter. if I can't control if the depression comes or not, what can I control?
that kind of makes it easier. but hell, its depression, its never easy.
