Well, sorry, I thought I had this but I don't, even the doctor experts can't tell the difference sometimes when it's misdiagnosed as schizophrenia which is often I read, I just got schizophrenia. But now I'm sure, I'm not like any of you so I must not have it, I don't fit in with the schizophrenics well either. sorry for wasting your time, it even fooled me. I thought maybe both were alike but they're different. I am going looking into hebephrenia. bye

is it possible for different personalities to have different triggers, like say ones name or be in danger and she the protector wakes up or be around something physically and another young one wakes up and wants to watch cartoons or wake one up and it wakes up another alter? i cannot decipher your slang. every other disease only doctors use special words. I got schizophrenia confirmed by P.E.T. scan though so maybe it's just schizophrenia because I definitely have delusions, voices, hallucinations, is it possible to have both?

It is unlikely but not impossible to have both. It's called comorbid. Yes different alters have different triggers. We use specialised words because it's what we need to use to convey our experiences accurately and ensure other bodied people understand us. At the top of this forum there is a pinned thread called about this forum that explains many of the common terms used.

Do you loose time? Can you tell if the voices are inside or outside your head?
I do hope you get some help. Keep seeing the Dr.s and a T (therapist) if you have one.
