NyxX wrote:Often when I want to respond to someone on here but before I can even start typing I will feel like it doesn't matter. My thoughts are to unimportant to insignificant to be worth sharing. When I think about taking to the others in here with me I feel similar that I'd be wasting there time and bothering them with my inane thoughts.
I've always found your advice to be thoughtful and helpful, NyxX.
It sounds like that feeling is a (maybe no-longer-needed) protector behavior--you can't get hurt if you decide ahead of time that you're unimportant and irrelevant before someone else gets a chance to tell you.
I start posts and delete them a lot. Some parts are very confident and verbal and others feel very inarticulate and like no one wants to hear what they have to say.

On a personal note rather than looking from the concept of relevance I'd also like to add, as others have said, that I have found your responses very insightful and personally helpful.

Thank you both for the kind words.
I hadn't considered they might be trying to protect me. And it makes me feel less overwhelmed that it might be the case. Like maybe they aren't as unreachable as I perceived.

Yes anything you mention or any type of help you try to give is very important. Remeber that you do matter and you are a important person either online or offline in your real life. All of you (alters included) are important.
And I second everything Becca said.
