From what I've read and heard, antidepressants can work for a system, but only if most of the system is depressed as opposed to a single part.
Usually, talk therapy is recommended (for the part).

Something that's also good to know in order to make your decision is that antidepressants also tend to be more effective (or more often effective) the more severely depressed someone is.

My personal recipe against depression is to try to change the life circumstances that are involved, and also to do your best to find one thing that you like. It was almost impossible, but I found one thing that I liked while being depressed last Winter, and it was what got me through...

Best of luck,

Fox

Hmm, yes. Sound like quite a big chunk of your functioning overall would be affected?

Was the lexapro working for you when you took it?
If so, seems like a good option to go on it again.

Lexapro helped me to elevate my mood but soon i break down because of some psycological reason and then stoped it.

I think it honestly depends on the person/part/system

We take lexapro and sometimes it helps us a lot and other times it makes us worse, and can impact the littles.

Some of us need it, some of us don't

It's complicated, but it won't hurt you to try it out!
