Discovering Dozens of Denizens

For a fair bit, I've felt like we need to keep some sort of journal, and I've seen around the forums that it's not uncommon to make a "journey" post, which seems to function in the same way. I guess you could call me the observer? Either way, I'm starting this topic so we can have some sort of spot to keep track of A discovering all of the system's denizens that didn't introduce themselves in the blog post A made that may not be public yet. A is co-conscious and didn't realize I wasn't him until now, so that's a bit disorienting for the both of us.

I'm not sure what to add, but as our observer mentioned, we'll start our journey post from here. We've already led a month and a half long journey with me being aware that there are others in our system, but now we'll continue it here.

Looks like I'm the corrector. It seems I'm the one that goes through and modifies the others' messages, whether on this forum or in text messages, to better get their original point across. I may also be one reason why A has found he restarts sentences when talking with people out loud. Interestingly enough, said issue has been less prevalent since A started discovering everyone.

Both the corrector and I are ageless and genderless.

I'm gonna end this beginning of our journey, and continue it with future replies.

I've gotten the sense from the others in the subsystem we've dubbed Central Management (comprised of The Omnipotent, The Observer, The Criticizer, The Corrector, and the Collector at the current moment, with possibility of others) that Nix used to be a part of Central Management and was called The Empty One at the time. I'm not sure how long ago that was, having just discovered Central Management, but I got the feeling from CM that that is the case.

We realized that when A had thought that there was only one subsystem, he took The Empty One into HS because he thought The Empty One belonged there. The Empty One was not aware of their CM name, and so accepted the name Nix after working through several others (including Phoenix). None of us in CM were against this, as we feel it was imperative for both The Empty One's self-discovery, but also imperative for A to come to understand the system.


Yo, Greed here. I'm gonna talk for the SFS about those who A thought were part of the Host Subsystem but were initially part of the SFS.

First of all, the one that the Host Subsystem knows as Kiera is really Lust (who has an Alter of her own named Sadism that Lust isn't entirely in touch with). The Host Subsystem took Gluttony in initially, but didn't give him another name. The one that the Host Subsystem knows as Richard, we know and knew as Pride. The Host Subsystem wouldn't accept naming one of their parts after the sin pride because they had just watched Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, so they urged Pride to go by Richard instead, and Pride agreed. I also think that the one that the Host Subsystem came to know as Cartaphilus and then renamed Phil may have been Wrath at some point. Yup, tried talking to Wrath and got Phil instead. Retroactively editing the list above.

Oof, I'm back. I haven't met everyone in Central Management, but I don't think anyone has any more changes to make to the lists we have of the subsystems.

A was thinking that Thomas, aka Doubting Tom, is The Skeptic Skrutinizer, and I think we all agree with that. You okay with being The Skeptic Skrutinizer, Thomas?

Yeah, I get the feeling that those skeptic and doubting thoughts we feel are coming from The Skeptic Skrutinizer are coming from me under a different name. I get the sense that I'm The Skeptic Skrutinizer.

Alright, I'll have the Definer make the changes.

I'm not sure if the list is entirely up to date, but I'm meeting with some neighbors in a few minutes and don't want to send this an hour after it was typed, so I'm sending this now even if it's not fully updated. Also, apparently I was wrong about nobody having any more changes to make to the lists. xP

The feelings of doubt weren't coming from Thomas. I believe they are coming from The Skeptic, and Thomas should be called The Scrutinizer within Central Management and not to be mixed up with The Skeptic. This makes the most sense to me.

We agree with this. Please make the changes. I understand you can't edit the previous post, but it should be okay for you to post the new subsystem lists again.

Also, A met The Skeptic and convinced her not to doubt the system anymore, and we don't need someone to fulfill the role of The Skeptic anymore because we have Thomas, The Scrutinizer, to fulfill the healthy version of that role. We're giving The Skeptic to the Host Subsystem, and The Skeptic would like a new name and to pick her own color.

I picked the name Shelly! I think it will show up on our blog that I'm 16 and female, but I'm saying it here just in case. I still have some doubts, and we have a lot of names and I haven't met everyone, but I'm trying to come to terms with the fact that this is all real ^u^

A just discovered us High Guardians. White wants to have her color be all white and I want my to be all black, but that doesn't work on this forum, so we're gonna mull over it for a while and decide. The image A has for both of us is wolves, our names being based on the color of our fur.

It was a risk for The Omniscient to come out to write in our previous blog post, let alone come out again, so The Omniscient hasn't picked a color yet.

In discussion with Central Management, we came to realize that the system doesn't need a False Believer at the moment, so we are giving the False Believer over to the Host Subsystem as we did with Jaimie.

I'm going to pick the name James for myself. I went from the name "Farley" based off of False, to James Farley, to not liking it because I'm not an introject of the guy, to James.

I discovered that the one we knew as a dog and had named Rufus is from the High Guardians. Keeping the list updated. Again, I wish this wasn't too long to fit in our signature...

I also discovered that Grey was never simply an introject. It's interesting how many of the others who didn't have a name or image that fit the patterns of our Host Subsystem ended up coming from other subsystems before I recognized there were other subsystems. Grey wants the nickname Abby now, by the way.

Grey doesn't want the cat/nickname Chase because 1) Grey isn't an introject, and 2) Chase is a cat with no face. I would strongly recommend not looking up pictures of Chase, it can be triggering to some people.

Aaaand I just discovered another subsystem. We call them System Veterans because they've gone through some $#%^, so they gotta deal with $#%^.

Mad Dog confirmed to me that Eric's an SV, but Mad Dog couldn't remember Eric's Veteran name.

Although Mike's a pretty dominant protector of the system and has fit pretty well in the Host Subsystem, he's a System Veteran, so we both agreed to "categorize" him as such.

Sarge seems like a masculine female. She probably knows everything about the System Veterans, and so I haven't met her because I need to discover the System Veterans like I have been everyone else. She came out of the head for a bit and said that if she were part of the Seven Friendly Sins, she'd be Narcissism, but she's not part of the SFS.

We also felt we should separate Shianne's little self and teen self in the list because there was a resolved conflict between Little Shianne and Viola.

I also got the sense that Green is a member of the High Guardians but I haven't met him yet. I was a tad overwhelmed at the moment his name came up in my head, so I asked him to wait.

A lot has changed since whenever the last time we made a post. We're working on our mind map/list and we'll post it when we work out the last bits besides the two people we're confused about.

Head Captain's time as the main host is over. He'll still be posting around, and we're going to pick a color for him to post as if he feels like it at some point. I think it's safe to assume that before this point, all posts in this color were by Head Captain. Posts in this color from now on will be from A1~

He hasn't been around in a while. -A2 (Figured I'd post as A2 instead of Mike, and take a step into integration because I feel it's gonna happen between me and A1 soon.)

Arnold Sampson speaking here. I don't know how the others got my first name confused with The Scrutinizer's Host Subsystem name, but like here's the deal. I'm part of a subsystem named the Fullnamers. It's not my place to tell Head Captain or any of the hosts about us, but I've unblocked their mind so they can now discover us all. I don't think they need to right now, and they don't need to worry about having a full list of us before starting their next update to the list. Especially because they've been getting my name wrong this whole bloody time.
