Symbolism in DID

I know all are different, and the same thing can represent very different associations to different people. I was still wondering if someone had any same kind of symbolism we do, and what have it meant to them, in their inner world's symbolic language.

There are few I thought I could ask about, since I've never heard anyone having anything quite like mine, but I thought others can ask or tell about their inner symbols as well.

So, I have at least one, or maybe two boys, whose skin is shimmering when it's dusk or dark. They are not fully shiny, you don't have to wear sun glasses in order to look at them or anything, it's just like a subtle shimmer on his (their?) skin. Do you know what could it mean, or have you had or heard of anyone who had shimmering parts?

I have not actually seen it, but I've heard him (them?) talking abut it, mentioning it few times, and I kind of have a picture in my head what would it look like, and I think that image is given me from someone, and it is real.

I can tell more about them if it is relevant, or how do they feel about it etc, what have they said. But before telling anything more, I wondered if it is a phenomenon familiar to someone, and they can have a totally different kind of view on it, than I can, when I'm just trying to be logical and look at their other issues and how would it fit.

I don't think we have anything like it but 2 things came to mind.

1) twilight vampires sparkle but thats in the sun. My SO calls them fairies not vampires because the are and I quote "sparkly magical beings'

2) the concept of a persons 'inner light' referring to enlightenment
