Hiyas

I can sometimes control a switch by triggering myself in a certain way, like to my little one Cody, or to my Protector The Taborite. But other than that I don't have any control over it.
a "Hard Switch" for me is going from the Taborite to Cody though. It often results in seizures if happens very abruptly. An example is if I am triggered by abuses by Mental Health or Medical (like driving by a Billboard of our local CCO Insurance Company) and am being very "Sophist-icated" in the original Greek style of Rhetoric (pre Socrates). In other words is grinding an axe of resentments by use of pointing out the obvious to expose their insane and idiotic behaviors or perceptions by use of logic and reason, and then suddenly see a puppy or something and get triggered into my Little "Cody". The extremes are so opposite of each other that it often causes a seizure or the switching to my other Little "Marky' who shuts down.
So when it comes to Cody or The Taborite I can get them to front by triggering myself with the related Triggers, but don't ever do it on purpose for have never seen the point of it? Especially the Taborite who can be pretty intense and don't like the way he goes about exposing other's false belief systems by pointedly exposing their severe idiotic thinking. I think it's mean and doesn't do anything but makes people hostile and they are so hurt and embarrassed by it that they only focus on their wounded ego and never come to see my point. Throw in his PTSD into that equation and it's pretty intense. Not something I want to have happen when dealing with "Professionals". Or anyone for that matter.
Those are the only two I have some amount of control over to switch. The others I have zero control over. And considering I go to great lengths to avoid the wrath of my Protector coming out front in any sort of situation, that would only leave "Cody" and he certainly is a wonderful ball of joy to experience both outwardly as well as inwardly. But I don't get him to switch. It's more of he is always fronting anyway or jumps in at a moments notice so just let him.
If anyone else fronts, it's rare and an odd experience. They blend a lot but to my knowledge am not aware of it usually.
On a side note. This topic seemed to be very upsetting to some of my Peeps for some reason and don't know why. Based upon the wide range of feelings, thoughts, and body sensations I'm guessing is more than just one or two. Perhaps one possible reason for one of them is the sinking feeling that "Who is Fronting Now?" Feels like the bottom just dropped out.
