We can't really control switching, like sometimes I get stuck out front, or V1 gets stuck fronting, and we really want someone else to take over but we can't force it so we're stuck.

We aren't really scared about switching, but V1 gets embarassed about it and like she wouldn't want it to happen in public or have people see us when a little is out. But it's not scared so much as just being embarassed, and that's just her. I don't care as much, tho I wouldn't want us to do anything that got us in trouble.

I feel silly for saying this but we are just now figuring out who's fronting. We use to be up but not out front. Some got stuck out front and now we are just now able to tell the difference.

I can't control switching I don't always realise its happened until I realise I'm watching what the body is doing. Z can control and force a switch and I have no idea about the others.

I, Delilah, can force a switch or block one. It was imperative to be able to appear normal and functional. The others move to the front as they wish, unless I see a need to hold them back.

Is there an initial map? If so, there this is an easy work around just say a few sentences of what they might say and carry themselves. Present it, just say such and such isn't here do a for an example.

Hiyas :)

I can sometimes control a switch by triggering myself in a certain way, like to my little one Cody, or to my Protector The Taborite. But other than that I don't have any control over it.

a "Hard Switch" for me is going from the Taborite to Cody though. It often results in seizures if happens very abruptly. An example is if I am triggered by abuses by Mental Health or Medical (like driving by a Billboard of our local CCO Insurance Company) and am being very "Sophist-icated" in the original Greek style of Rhetoric (pre Socrates). In other words is grinding an axe of resentments by use of pointing out the obvious to expose their insane and idiotic behaviors or perceptions by use of logic and reason, and then suddenly see a puppy or something and get triggered into my Little "Cody". The extremes are so opposite of each other that it often causes a seizure or the switching to my other Little "Marky' who shuts down.

So when it comes to Cody or The Taborite I can get them to front by triggering myself with the related Triggers, but don't ever do it on purpose for have never seen the point of it? Especially the Taborite who can be pretty intense and don't like the way he goes about exposing other's false belief systems by pointedly exposing their severe idiotic thinking. I think it's mean and doesn't do anything but makes people hostile and they are so hurt and embarrassed by it that they only focus on their wounded ego and never come to see my point. Throw in his PTSD into that equation and it's pretty intense. Not something I want to have happen when dealing with "Professionals". Or anyone for that matter.

Those are the only two I have some amount of control over to switch. The others I have zero control over. And considering I go to great lengths to avoid the wrath of my Protector coming out front in any sort of situation, that would only leave "Cody" and he certainly is a wonderful ball of joy to experience both outwardly as well as inwardly. But I don't get him to switch. It's more of he is always fronting anyway or jumps in at a moments notice so just let him.

If anyone else fronts, it's rare and an odd experience. They blend a lot but to my knowledge am not aware of it usually.

On a side note. This topic seemed to be very upsetting to some of my Peeps for some reason and don't know why. Based upon the wide range of feelings, thoughts, and body sensations I'm guessing is more than just one or two. Perhaps one possible reason for one of them is the sinking feeling that "Who is Fronting Now?" Feels like the bottom just dropped out.

I don't know how we switched to me and I don't know how to switch to anyone else. I know two front people have been practicing switching and they have had a little bit of success. According to our T, Michelle (a front person) has the ability to let the little ones come forward and talk to the T or p-doc. I wouldn't know how to do that and I don't even hear them really - but I have made it clear I'm not really open to that as I'm barely coping with my own existence right now, let alone the others. I know that Michelle has written that she and the other front person used to only switch in their sleep, and not on purpose, as far as they knew, although it seemed like sometimes the right person was in front for whatever was going on that day.
A menagerie of one. Some of us are Michelle, Chris, Kathryn, Sarah, Bobby, Lisa, Christie, Krystal, D.

I can't control switching at all. It happens and I black out and only get memories from what someone did while controlling me.
