Fictives: Putty Cat, Ice , Harlid Gothamites: Bruce, Selena, Harvey, Jack, Jon, Harleen, Poison Ivy Littles: Ryan and Charles McCartys: Francis, David, Patrick, Kevin, Dokey, Margaret and Richard Others: Rupert, Stephanie, Tom, Edward, Red.


Bruce is Harvey's best friend, but they aren't always together. Selena is like a mother to me. Jack is so cool. Jon is the smartest, except maybe Harleen, but Poison Ivy is a goddess. Little Charles is so smart. Francis is in charge. David I can always count on. Patrick is a class act. I don't like Kevin and Dokey that much, but they're family. Harlid is a laugh, and Red is super-fast.

This might be dumb, but what does fictive mean?

It's not dumb. People with DID do have a kind of a subculture with it's own language. There are a lot of new words to learn if you want to understand all what people are talking about.

A fictive is an alter/ a part based on some fictional character. It can be like a character from some book or movie, comic, manga, anime etc. I think you call also fictives the kind of parts like unicorns or other species non existing in a real world, even when they are not based on a certain unicorn from any story.

Exactly. Harlid is a toon, like in who framed roger rabbit. Ice is a marvel mutant, and Putty Cat is from Dick Tracy.
