Long story short I am always tripping and think it would be nice to see someone again but it's hard to open up and allow others to know how bad my condition is and then parts of me trip while doing so and it's just so complicated and so much $#%^ happened
Anyway my last T was empathatic and caring but didnt believe in DID and I only saw him for 3 months before wraoping up school and starting a full time work (I trip all the time that given my life and the fact I trip so much I accomplished both)
Anyway, greatly appreciate advice and what you think I should look for!

Someone who is an expert in treating DID. They exist, but they're hard to find. You can start with "find a therapist" on the isstd website.

As I understand it, until you get clean and sober for months, even if the therapist is expert in treating DID they won't treat you for DID.
