Okay I'm new at this so I'm having a hard time explaining this. Id like to know if this is common with people with DID. Okay for the past year I've been going through the process of slowly being broken down and being shown my alters and discovering I have d i d. Basically did crisis. For the past couple of months I've been "recovering"...I believe after a year and a half of not understanding what i was dealing with. Ive had to fight hard to get out of a dark disassociative state. Now I'm hearing my future self say things to me and then as I go through a cycle of discovering DID it seems like I'm experiencing everything threw a loop.
Like today I might be doing something I'm conflicted about and I might hear a random thought tell me not to do something with an alter or in my inner world.
I fight threw yet another level of disassociation and as I'm trying to talk to my other Alters to get them in the road of recovery... I might say something that was actually what I said in the previous day.
So everything feels like its already happened and I'm just working threw the #######4 to get to the present thats already sorta happened.
Made me question reality and current time for a 2nd. Like derealization. But I know better.

What do you mean exactly that your future self is directing you? I know you gave an example in your post, but I had a hard time understanding exactly what you meant. Maybe keeping a journal of interactions you have with alters will help break the loop?
I have ADHD. Possibly have another mental disorder but am not certain.

Alters anticipate all the time, I would be happy for the extra job interview practice for example. It helps if you get use to talk all the time it isn't a comparable example, but you know how certain folks need noise to multitask? Think of it this way, they are preparing for the future. It is also memorization of the events in questions likes dislikes the cues of how to maintain continually co con.
