I was watching tv and there was a commercial for KY. And then it came. I won't go into detail but it was a repeated experience when I was about 25.

The interesting thing is that this happened when I was host in 1999, the year before Terrin would take over for ten years and take us into the mental health system. Deep. This could be an important memory. But I am so ashamed about it that I can't even tell my T.

And as I'm writing this I just got triggered in a whole different way by a commercial for A Dogs Purpose. I lost two dogs in the past two years.

Crap so fragile right now.

hang in there.
there are times when we are more vulnerable, more hypervigilant and we are more easily triggered.
at those times stuff comes up all the time and things that didnt trigger suddenly do.
one thing you can do for yourself is turn off the tv. that is utterly unpredictable and throws all kinds of stuff at you.
