Congrats on a successful first week back! You rock!

I think that's a cool idea to come up with a cool 'look' or style. Like yeah, we sometimes gotta adapt due to body stuff and outside stuff, but I think its way better if we own it and rock it and make it ours.

Like, get a look that you like and be cool with it, I think people see the confidence and comfort when you got it, and that's a better look than being 'normal' and hating it.

You guys are ######6 amazing!! A whole week of work is a great accomplishment. And all that shopping/styling stuff sounds like a good plan. A hat, glasses, and walking stick doesn't sound like it would look very crazy anyway.

Can you clarify something for us? What's the adaptive reason behind the hats?

to shade the eyeballs from the death rays

even with our awesome theraspecs we have some leakage around the edges and need the overhead coverage of a wide brimmed hat.

the problem is that a ballcap + theraspecs gives off a hank William's jr - trucker- make america great again kind of vibe that I'm trying to avoid.

likewise the wide brimmed grey hat + wooden staff = LOTR Gandalf kind of thing.

and the trifecta of hat, shades, backpack, and staff look like I'm hiking the Appalachian trail.

blending in with adaptive equipment is a little hard. I'm going to try to create a new look called "sporty, business, boho" and see what the ###$ happens. bwahahahhahahahaha.

when I get better, better. like have lost some weight, gained some balance, and grown some hair I think I could do a vintage vibe in the office. like a 30s look. dress, sensible shoes, a bob hair do, with cute little cloche hats. but that's down the road. right now I need sneakers and mega hats.

Yeah, got it. We wouldn't want to give off some of the other vibes you described either.

Welcoming a new member to Team Bee:

our shy friend was so curious about the strong emotion from LTLTR responses that we started talking. and we like her already.

Catching on pretty quick that the inside could be whatever we want to be Nova has wings. think the wings in the live action Maleficent movie - where you can fly like a tornado or glide like an eagle. fierce wings. for some icing on the cake she can also transform into any size or shape of plant or animal she wants. kind of like having a super power. so she says her name is really (super) nova. but the super is silent. her human form is super cute. tall, lean, dark haired and dark eyed. she is wearing a long sleeve shirt that's a light cream color with thin horizontal black stripes. short shorts that are overalls. also black. with a round, black, roll brimmed hat. black socks and hiking style boots. I think this might be a pop culture image I cant place. her features are soft and pixie like with big round eyes.

she seems smart and cool. last age she was was 14 and she is still deciding how old she wants to be.

she loves being alive and having shapeshifter abilities. she can shift mass. so she can be any size anything she wants any time. smart cookie!!

oh. I guess she has small antennae on her head and the hat covers those. oh they are really cute!!!

Nova is the new bee who has been hanging back watching for about two months now. I cam see her so clearly. I wish I knew someone who could draw to make a picture of her. maybe I can find a computer program that let's you make avatars. that would be neato.
