Thank you. I'm working very hard to resist the temptation to destroy the enclosure.

What if you could feel free to destroy it? Rest of the MDs and builders of the enclosure, here me out first.

What if you could actually destroy it and not being punished for it? What if you could destroy it and not be not loved for it? What if you could feel free to destroy (it's not a prison after all) and then rebuild it when you felt like it?

I actually, wanted to suggest a cake enclosure. One that would taste yummy or smell good.

The idea is that it doesn't have to be a prison, nor an obligation. You can decide to go back to the pit and not be hated for it. You can fall in the pit and still be loved. And you can come out of it and others can lend you a hand to come out of it.

When something is not either this or that, nor an imposition, but when it comes from inside, and you know you can go back to it if you ever feel the need, it's easier to see other options.

How would the other MDs feel about it?

Hi Sea,

I agree with what you're saying. And to paraphrase a couple of our others, if one of us really wanted to do something destructive on the inside, there's nothing to stop us. It's why we don't lock up destructive insiders any more. Forced containment no longer works for us.

So while I know it would help for me to give myself permission to destroy the enclosure, I won't do it. The pit is in an otherwise pitch-black clearing in the tunnel system, and the enclosure is painted with glow-in-the-dark paint. The enclosure needs to be there, to keep people from running into it--or worse, falling in.

Thanks,

Charity

We painted it glow-in-the-dark pale yellow. Like the tape used in stairwells and theater stages to create better visibility in the dark.

I'm feeling less depressed, partially because we're at a better place in our hormonal cycle. Hormonal cycles don't stop after menopause, as much as we wish that they did. :| Our mood swings have been particularly bad since then. We always have to stay aware of where we are in the hormone and mood cycle. Allegra is very good at this.

Our cold is also getting better. It's been nearly two weeks. Hopefully as all the sources of stress get resolved, we'll feel better physically.

Thank you both.

Charity, with Allegra helping
