I am not surprised that time distortions and other odd perceptions of time abound in people with dissociative disorders, but the effects of having poor time perception are debilitating, and quite disabling in my opinion.

Not only do I bring up discussions from months ago as if they happened yesterday, but I have difficulty tracking time in the present. I also forget to do things at certain times, and am lost in reality somewhat. It's hard to engage meaningfully in reality when it is "far" and "detached".
