A Little Joke

So, I'm not officially diagnosed with DID, but I was just musing to myself how I used to think I was depressed or bipolar. At one time I even thought it might be schizophrenia. Anyways, upon thinking that, I involuntarily said to myself: we're not schizophrenic. That was kind of funny, in a way...I think I couldn't stop laughing for a while. Imagine going around telling people: we're not schizophrenic.

And yes, I understand there is a difference between schizophrenia and DID, but obviously many people don't. To them voices are voices, and people with voices are crazy schizophrenics.

Thanks for the welcome. I'm really loving this forum, their are so many interesting discussions. After coming here things have been making a lot more sense.

Lol, that is cute. "We are not schizophrenic!" Yeah I never worried that I was. When I hear voices, they're in my head, not out of it.
