the host is in denial

Postby ElKahn » Mon Sep 01, 2014 8:57 pm

The host is denying that I exist. The host is denying that he's got alters.

The host is denying and this is why I'm in control now. He's in danger. He's in danger, he's in denial.

HE'S DRIVING ME INSANE!

Calm down. It is normal for hosts and sometimes alters to have denial. It comes with DID. I understand it's frustrating but try to be patient with him. He just found this out and is overwhelmed by it.

I can see why you're frustrated. You want to be acknowledged like you should be but your host won't do it. I'm not sure constantly taking control is the way to do it though.

Nathan, your host is right. I'm speaking from experience when I say this that switching constantly wears on the host. It uses up a lot of energy and can give the host headaches, nausea and more. You need to establish communication first and a way of signaling to the host you want to be let out. If you let the host let you out, you'll have less problems.

That's right! He doesn't understand! I had terrible headaches yesterday and nausea! And I feel extremely stressed out right now. I can't even concentrate on things.

I don't know if he can read you now though...I don't feel him here right now, which is great.

I'm guessing he's backed off for now. That's good. Sounds like you could use some rest.

I felt the same way when William got everyone in our system arguing earlier.
