Would someone please explain subsystems? What happens to the original system of a subsystem comes into play? How do they work?

This is what I understand a subsystem to be but please correct me if I'm wrong. A subsystem is usually made when there are pairs or groups of alters that have a certain function but don't really front. Alters can have alters which can create a subsystem as well. If this is incorrect, I'm sorry.
I have ADHD. Possibly have another mental disorder but am not certain.

Viola, Host 26 ADHD, Narcolepsy, Depression (possible DID?)

When one doesn't want to do there job could this be when you slur your words are start behaving drunk.
