For the teenagers!

Hi Cody,

Host won't eat what you cook? Why not?? Cinnamon rolls--yum.

I guess we don't like ballet in the sense of enjoying it. But we like the results of doing it--having more of a dancer's body, and we like getting better and better at the technique. We're not very good at it, but when we're there, we don't think about anything else except getting through each exercise, so that's kind of nice. It IS a freaking LOT of work!

Host TOTALLY eats what I cook. He's just not always so supportive of me cooking it. I made this sausage and potatoes thing that he really loves!

Having something where you don't think about anything else sounds nice.

I'm Devin and I'm 14. I really miss one of my dance classes that used to be in person but now is only on zoom. I liked it because there were other teens in it and I met this nice boy who was going to be a senior in high school. I know he couldn't really see me because we look older on the outside, but he was still really nice to us.

Hi Sue!

We have a Sioux (pronounced Sue) and a Susie and Susan in our system....It can get confusing sometimes!! I wish they'd all blend into one and decide which name they want to use!!

Sue - Glad you found the forum and want to be friends. I like green too.

Devin - That's neat you get to be around other teens! I wish we could do that. It's kind of tricky because we're like really old so teens don't talk to us the same way they talk to other teens. We used to have a teen friend who kind of understood about us but she grew up and went to college.

i'm not sure if this is the right place for me to be, or the right place to talk about this stuff

i don't know my exact age but i feel like maybe middle-school or 1st year of highschool? i have memories that could be from either and its confusing. i know i'm not a little kid but i'm not an older teen.

things are really confusing for me right now & i'm really sad

i don't know why i'm here
i have some memories but i don't know if they're real or not, if they're mine or not, or if its just stuff we maybe saw on some tv show or something
but i understand that me & viola & the others are all trapped in this body together like prisoners & none of us get to have our own hopes & dreams & plans & stuff
viola said i could be whoever or whatever i wanted but thats not true
we can't pick what we want to be when we grow up because the body grew up without us & we're stuck with it

i dont understand why i'm here or why i exist when i can't really be me

i'm sorry for being so depressing
how do you all deal with this stuff?

We cope by having a rota. Everyone gets one Hoby that they get to do in the outside world. It's only 1 hour a week of just our personal stuff but at least it's something.

It sucks that we can't all have the careers we wanted but life sucks. I know loads of singleton who lost their dreams cause they weren't good enough at school or whatever so at least our dreams don't die that way
