I didn’t mean asking if others are ok as a ‘I’m concerned and about your welfare and am alarmed I haven’t heard from you’. More just hoping everyone is ok. We don’t get individual acknowledgment out here, nobody asks how I, Nicole, am doing. So we like it when it seems like people are genuinely interested in how the individual is going, not just us a system.

We also have never been able to understand time. We don’t know how long it has been since we last wrote. Even if we look at the dates and times on here, it doesn’t make a lot of sense to us.

We didn’t mean to pressure anyone into answering. Sorry.

And please don’t have to ever feel compelled to answer. I just assumed everyone was like us and liked to have an acknowledgment of their existence.

Sorry.

We like it when people acknowledge our existence as no-one in the real world knows about us and even the host is really isolated in the real world and rarely gets texts from RL people.

You mentioned a house in your inner world? Our host has a house in the inner world too an exact replica of the one she grew up in. M (her 'mum' alter) lives on the inside too. M is a changeling like me I'm not sure if Host S has realised that yet! They used to only live in the inner world but now S wanted to come back and 'have a real life in her body' as there's no expectations on her, but only if M could be with her.

S has gone back in now the birthday is over, she is disappointed that the sibling can't see 'that she's back'. After siblings partner revealed (after a few drinks) that she had been told S 'never likes anybody' She felt he was describing Kit (the more autistic of us) and was disappointed he couldn't see that she had really been trying to be the sister she was before Thea took over life and her name. :(

So she is back on the inside in tears, Jody wants to get on with unpacking the new CD player (they bought us) so she can go through our CD collection. CA Susie (6) is desperate to try the new game out sibling got us...oh and the dog still needs to be walked before it gets too hot here, cos we woke up later than usual! Happy Days lol! :D

Hi all,

We're not offended. So no need to be concerned about that.

It can be hard for anyone, even folks without a trauma history, to communicate effectively in a medium where we can't rely on facial expression, body language, and other nonverbal cues. We were telling our T tonight how difficult it is for anyone to deal with things like the unemployment office, the health insurance people, and an active job search. "Throw in cPTSD on top of all of that," we said, "and it's no wonder we can barely function."

So it helps if we can all be gentle with ourselves. It's okay to have these conversations, because it's better to clear up misunderstandings. In the end, we all benefit.

We hope this helps reassure everyone.

Hi Nicole,

How are you doing?

We like it when people acknowledge us too.

I'm really tired of living in an old body. It's weak and always breaking down. Host keeps telling me Be careful. Don't do stuff. Stay safe. I'm ######6 tired of it.

Hi Colin

We have this issue too but our human alters find video games provide an outlet. We have some we can use for physio too the wii was great for games that help balance and co-ordination via the balance board. You can get a regular gamepad for wii too and some adventure games (did you say before you had an old wii?)

But alot of the time especially in winter the body has high levels of pain and has to lie down for most of the day so we have alot of games for traditional style controller too (mainly only thumbs and fingers needed!) for entertainment with minimal movement! It helps pass a lot of time for whoever's hosting when we can't do much.

Yeah Phoenix. Thanks. Got to remember I don't have it that bad. Just complaining. I'm 17 and the body's not. It's tough but there's a lot worse.

Hey Cody! I heard you guys are traveling. Are you staying in a hotel? Don't forget to order room service!! :D Hope you're having a fun time!

Sasha <3 <3 <3
P.S. We're traveling also! There's a thunderstorm going on right now. We took a long walk earlier this morning and got back to where we're staying just in time, so we didn't get soaked. 8)

Hi Sasha,

Yeah we were out of town for a little bit. But we got to stay in a nice hotel :D Now we're home and Host is totally exhausted. That means I get to watch a movie or something that I like to do.
