HI Nicole, Rachel. Rose, Devin and Palmer.

Animal Crossing is a game on the (Nintendo) Switch console, if you connect the console to the TV you can see everything on the screen better. Games with stunning scenery look amazing on a big TV screen.

Me and Susie (6) have been watching YT video's of video games all weekend to find a suitable adventure for her thats not scary. She likes the adventuring and collecting things but not the monsters! Family wanted to know if there was a game they could get us for the host's birthday. Susie has decided she likes Yonder cloud catcher chronicles cos of the cute animals in it!! ..and she can make her own cutesy little girl character and have pink pigtails! :D (you can find wigs and hair dye in the game and do your hair different colours and styles!).

Does anyone else have a video games console? What games do you like?

Hi Devin,

That’s great you were having a good weekend - I hope it continued for you all. Sorting through old stuff can be both exciting and scary. We recently moved so we had to go through all our stuff too. We didn’t have a lot as we have gone through our stuff before and our original would always throw anything out that she found which showed we exist.

Hi Phoenix,

I have seen the Nintendo Switch, but have no idea how to use it. We only have a wii, but we play games and things on the iPad.

Hi Cody and Iain,

I hope you guys are doing ok.

And I hope everyone else is doing ok, as well.

- Nicole

Hi Nicole

We have the Wii too, it's good for exercise based games and we've had wii fit for years, host uses it for physio session a couple of times a week but most of us prefer the switch for non exercise games.

Hi Phoenix,

Some here use the wii fit but they say they don’t use it as much as they should. We like wii sport, and I like to play tennis on it with the originals partner. Oh and the golf and bowling are kinda fun.

We also have an old, old Nintendo that still works. A couple of teens and older littles here love to play horse games on it.

I like to play time management games on the iPad. Others here like the horse games. Oh and they recently found a colouring app which the littles really like.

Hi Nicole,

We're ok. Thanks for asking. Host did a big work project last week and kind of took up all the bandwidth. We're just doing regular work now. That's a ton easier. We're going to have our T session today. Our T is going to be out of town on our regular day and she's really nice about rescheduling so we don't miss.

What are 'time management games?'

We like riding the horses in Breath of the Wild just charging round the world bareback with Link in just his shorts..lol! ..though sometimes we dress him more civilised and ride with a proper bridle and saddle!!

Hi Iain,
That’s awesome that your T rescheduled when she would be away. Our T is away this week, too, but he is so busy he usually can’t reschedule. He doesn’t go away very much and never takes a sick day, so it doesn’t happen that much. I find therapy is really hard work, and sometimes it is nice to have a break. Other times, it is real hard to cope without it. Do you find the same thing? Or is your T always able to fit you in when she is away?

Hi Phoenix,
Time management games are like those games that you have to run around, and serve customers and stuff. Like here they have some cooking games, and customers come up and ask for you to make some food. You make the food they want and serve them, but there are more than one customer at a time, so it can get frantic, trying to feed everyone.

I have never heard of Breath of the Wild. It sounds super fun - I bet our horsey people in here would love to play that! :)

How is everyone else going?

Hi Rose,

Yeah, our T said this is an important part of therapy so she rescheduled. Mostly we just skip. It's kind of scary but kind of nice to have time to ourselves. We practice being self-sufficient.

Hi Rose

The host thinks she may have played 'Cooking Mama' before on the first Wii (current one is the Wii U) before.

Susie would like to know what 'horsey games' you play? are any suitable for a 6yr old? ..lol...and she's asking me if you can ride a Unicorn in any of them!!! (she can't come on this board cos she's only 6 but if you let me know names of horsey games I will look for them).

Most of us like adventure/exploration games where you can just run/ride around freely. Susie likes them to have cute animals in but no fighting, others don't mind fighting fantasy/cartoon monsters like in Zelda or Final Fantasy games. Nobody likes them too gory or scary/realistic though!
