hey Lara,
we built an indoor playground that is safe so the kids can roam. it means less stress entertaining them. they always find something to do.
do you guys know the concept of inner helpers? with our Ts help we just got an inside magic pet animal for one of the timid girls. she has been absorbed playing with it since then. more free time for all!
i watch the new T carefully. she says she expects me to. we agreed that i will tell her when she is doing something wrong. i find that i get angry really fast when she doesnt get things the first time we explained. dunno why.
she can totally tell us apart. even Asti and L. and she speaks up every time she sees someone else shine thru. she is trying really hard to get to know each one of us. its kind of cool, but we never had that, so i am watching carefully...

Hey Lara. I guess 12 year olds can be in either group. Depends on where they're comfortable. I'm ok either way.
Annett. You got a good T. I remember when ours noticed Iain. Damn he was pleased! She's pretty good at figuring out who's around. You're right. It's kind of nice but kind of uncomfortable. We're used to hiding. I pretend I'm Host a lot but our T can always tell.

Hi Bec,
Our T started EMDR with us before she knew we were DID and that was a COMPLETE disaster!! Host about had a panic attack. EMDR is a good thing it just has to be done a special way for DID people and nobody told our T so...
Welcome to the mighty teen thread!!!

looking forward to our work-free (which is simply blog-free) weekend.
a friend will teach us how to paint like Bob Ross!
it will probably not look like that first... but the technique so we could practice at home.
its good that it is a friend teaching... but we dont know her husband and she says he gets angry easily. if he is a violent guy we might not stay for lunch...
I've got to work at staying calm. today is yet another difficult anniversary...
we had EMDR before anyone knew about the "us". it was a disaster. we later had it again, doing scenes that involved only one of us, we took great care of each other and made it really safe and it helped. then by accident we tried a scene that had more parts involved in it and $#%^ hit the fan again. we think that good EMDR with DID is tricky business...

Hi Annett,
We really like your blog. Everyone gets good ideas from it and we go there a lot. Thanks for writing it.
We've been trying an experiment. We've been listening to the "I Survived..." series. They're kid's books but pretty fun anyway. Mostly we're doing it so Evan will listen. He likes them but he's always scared. Scary things happen in the books but the boy or girl is always ok because they're brave and smart. Evan is really brave and smart just sometimes scared because of what happened a long time ago. When he imagines himself in the story and it turns out good he's learning not to be so scared. It's working pretty good.
I liked the one about the tornado!
