I completely live inside my imagination

Postby stripesandspots » Mon May 19, 2014 1:53 am

I don't know where exactly to post this...

but I pretty much write a lot of my life in my head. Like I'm writing it on a typewriter or something in my head, and it's always different somehow. But the same somehow. Is this kind of thing more likely to be a mental illness or the result of a head injury or product of environment?

Id say environment.

But why do you live in your head? Bordem, fear, or its just better inside?

can we ask (and you don't have to answer if you don't like to) what type of things you write. We often lie dreaming, of having a family who cares, or being in a place where someone comes along and helps us open up and talk, to fit in again, get our voice heard...things we often long for but have rarely had. Partly we do it because our kids want to say how they feel/felt, and partly because it's the only place we can comfort ourselves and actually provide us with the care we've always craved.
