yepitsme,

Humm... I'm really sorry she's in such a horrible place. It sounds a bit like the movie "The Cell" with J-Lo.

*Trigger Warning - The movie may trigger unwanted memories*
Trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VvYJkD2nWco

Though no comparisons whatsoever on the characters.

yepitsme wrote:I want to get in touch with her because that is the only to finish the integration and finally let go of her anger and lessen her fear.

Oh, I understand.

Humm... You could try what Big_Bad_Harv said. He makes a really good point.

Don't know if this work, but do you think that maybe working on the reasons why she committed suicide could help?

Wish you a lot of clarity.

I know this sounds strange, considering where she is, but I think I might try thunderstorms. I have several recordings on my ipod and I love listening to them quietly when I need some time to calm myself. She LOVES thunderstorms. We used to live in Alabama and loved how they rolled through every evening in the spring. She would just come alive when she heard a good one rolling in. We live in Washington now so she hasn't seen or heard one in many years. I wonder if she will hear it if I turn it up loud enough. It is dry and cold there. Two things she hates most in weather. If I could get a thunderstorm to her she would love it.

The thunderstorm imagery sounds wonderful! It has sounds, sensations, even odors. I would do it!

My Alter 5 was awake and trapped inside for several years in the dissociative void and, just as you describe, it was very difficult for me to reach her. She dreamed about a man she saw there in the void with her just one time, and was consumed with longing for him. This all began about 4 years ago. At first I began to see her image of him then feel her longing for him. I was beyond perplexed. Why was I experiencing these intrusive images of this man, and these feelings for him? I hardly knew him. He was someone I had spent only a few minutes with, and my first impression was not a good one. I have no history of infatuation. After diagnosis of my DID and working with a therapist who knew all about DID, it took more than two years for me to reach her deeply enough to integrate her.

I also think the thunderstorms idea is awesome!!

Hope you get not only in contact with her, but also you get her attention as well.

Wishing you a great thunderstorm night. :) Sea

P.S.: I love thunderstorms too, I love the way sky illuminates, I love the sound, I love the smell. Sometimes, I even love to have a rain shower, and then go back home and change my wet clothes to warm pijamas. Oh! Loving the idea!!! :)
