Thanks.

The "Haunted Self" does criticize the fact that no mental health encyclopedia (DSM-5, CMI-10)

I'm not familiar with the "Haunted Self" or with CMI-10. Perhaps you mean ICD-10?

puts dissociation as a differential diagnosis for schizophrenia and other organic psychosis. It is a shame since a lot of dissociative persons have psychotic-like symptoms (schneiderian symptoms) that are treated in a very different way from organic psychosis.

Schneiderian first-rank symptoms? That is interesting.

I wish for you that you find a therapist who will find the right diagnosis for you and the proper treatment that will help you.

Alas, that seems very remote from my current perspective.

My bad. The CIM-10 (not CMI that was a typo) is the french name of the ICD-10.

"The Haunted Self" is a book you can find online or purchase in libraries. It describes the structural dissociation theory, which talks about how dissociative disorders come to be due to trauma, why it makes our mind work this way, and also talks about how to heal from trauma.

Schneiderian first-rank symptoms tend to be more frequent in dissociative disorder than in psychosis. It is important for therapists to be able to discriminate between organic psychosis and dissociative "psychosis" because the treatment is very different. The different books listed here dissociative-identity/topic219302.html talk about it. Do not hesitate to have a look. Maybe you will find something that can help you. At the very least you will learn something, and learning new things is always good in my opinion.
