Depersonalisation

Postby another-place » Tue Nov 05, 2013 2:45 am

Hi,

There's often talk of alters here...

Personally 90% of the time I have no sense of self whatsoever (the other 10% can be fun of course :))
Anyone else get this?

Thanks

I don't really know my answer to this question. I don't know if that's a question I should know the answer for. And I guess I don't know if just the fact that I don't know if "this is a question that I should know the answer for or not" already means that in practice my answer is actually "yes, 90% of the time I have no sense of self"...

Philosophy is fine and dandy on paper. But in my head... it's a whole mess. I can't find any real meaning to words like "self". My analytical part would love to follow that line of questioning, but me, personally, I'm afraid of it.

I don't know if I can put a percentage on it, each day is so different. Sometimes I have no sense of self all day while other times I am co-conscious and feel in control.
