I understand now. Well I'm sorry he feels that way. Restraining himself, and the system, all the time sounds very hard. Why restrain himself and the system though? So no one does anything they shouldn't do? (If I'm asking too many questions let me know. I don't want to make you all uncomfortable or anything and I don't mean to pry.)

Yeah, it can be exhausting. Repressing yourself (whether the "self" you're repressing is one or many) is no good. Well, no good in itself, but it's a necessary evil. Humanity would have gone extinct long ago if nobody ever restrained themselves...

Why restrain himself and the system though? So no one does anything they shouldn't do?

Yes, pretty much. Inside, each part exists in a context that doesn't exist anymore. Things get confusing and out of proportion really fast, because they can't be constructive if they're not aware of the context where they find themselves when they surface. The timeline is broken.

No, it's okay. This short conversation so far has already been very enlightening to me. Thanks for it :) (I hope it's being useful to you too.)

I don't want to continue the conversation right now, because it's just not a good moment for me to "keep digging". But maybe another time ;)
