How does it feel for someone who doesn't know he has DID the first time an alter is out specifically when it comes to 5 sences?
Does he/ she complaint that
1) he feels as if he listens for the first time as if he didnt listen before
2)he feels as if he sees for the same time as if he didnt see before
3) he feels he touches and feels things for the first time as if he hasn't touched/felt things before
4)he feels like what I am doing here
Assuming in a system where an alter has been the host for a long time and then later another takes control, can someone describe the above if he doesn't know he has DID and the fact is he is seeing/hearing/feeling DIFFERENTLY but he says as if I never experienced seeing/hearing/feeling before

I’m not sure I understand the question. Are you asking what the host experiences, or what an alter might experience during their first time in the body?

One of ours, Apollo, had exactly that experience. He had never been out before, and the outside world was shocking to him. I remember the first time we met-- he was petrified by the sensation of touch. He was extremely sensitive everywhere. Even breathing bothered him.
As for the other sensations, I can’t say. It was his second time in the body. It’s also the only time that someone has felt bothered about being in the physical world.
If there’s anything I left out, feel free to ask.

I hope he doesn't mind me saying this, but I was there (talking to TGFSmith) when Apollo came out. I believe it was the first time, it may have been the second. Apollo had no clue about anything. He didn't know who he was, where he was and if I remember correctly he barely knew how to communicate. The body felt strange to him. He didn't know how to control it. What you are experiencing sounds normal.

I had written something here, but upon reviewing messages it was incorrect, so I removed it.

There are times when i feel very much like my senses are overloaded, everything is too bright and too loud, smell is too strong etc...wondering now if it is an alter near the surface.
