I had a pretty bad fainting spell this morning. Took the puppy out for his 6am toilet trip and collapsed outside the front door. I don't remember coming back inside or taking the puppy back upstairs but i know i was lying on the floor for ten minutes. Been in bed most of the day.
I was wondering if it could be a dissociative symptom? I understand it could be low blood pressure or i may be getting the flu, but I used to have bad dizzy fits and fainting quite a lot without an apparent cause, have had the ambulance out a couple of times. My vision will completely black out sometimes, loud ringing in ears, extreme weakness and anxiety-like nausea. I have had a lot of blood tests in the past and they always come back ok. My blood pressure is normally very good as well.

Yeah, as expected, he said it's most likely anxiety; the numbness is from not breathing properly. I mentioned some dissociative symptoms but he was kind of dismissive but he wasn't a pdoc or anything; i haven't even seen him before, he is new to the GP surgery or he's temporary...
Well, he told me to drink more water. Yeeeaah... thanks guy.
