Condensing the System (TW)

Postby Mae the First » Tue Aug 27, 2013 7:06 am

Hey guys.

Not even a week ago, our system started to condense--alters in groups of two to about ten started merging (we hate the i-word). So instead of 83, we're down to..

FOURTEEN?!

It's actually going pretty well so far, and while I miss everyone being separate consciousnesses, I'm glad that everyone feels more whole and fuller than they did before. One group is struggling though, as there are three dominant alters and they all want to be what we call a Representative. They'll work it out, I'm sure.. or I hope.

A major problem is that with our pain medication, we get really REALLY switchy, and especially now we need that to die down a little. We've all been dreadfully EXHAUSTED, to the point that I sleep over 14 hours a day, and it sucks because I have class three days a week. D: Also a problem with waking up is that one of them has learned how to behave like me, enough to fool my fiance, and wakes up, convinces him we're not well enough to go to class, and then I wake up well past the class' ending and I'm like.. what just happened? Why did I not go to class? UGH.

Does anyone maybe know how to deal with the exhaustion that comes from merging?
..Or possibly how to identify and talk some sense into whoever is impersonating me? D:
Elyse (20), Ophelia (21), Ellie (4), Candy (13), Mae (23), Nevan (25), Marjorie (14), Georgia (27), Adam (23), Damon Black (24), Clara (25), Lily (17-25), Sammy (21), Alice (8); The Others are trying to get their lives straightened out.
Friendly hugs and ToE are fiiiiine ;3

This I've been hoping to figure out too (the identifying part).

It's natural and I think pushing past it might stop the merge from staying put. What you're doing here requires absolutely enormous work on the part of your brain (connecting lots and lots of neurons). It's a healthy sign that you're exhausted and you probably absolutely need the sleep. This is one of the reasons mass merging or even merging at all can be absolutely exhausting if not done at an opportune time. Some people go through it without too much fatigue but most I've talked to experienced loads of it. Take good care of yourselves.
