Hi-Recently Dis-integrated

Hi,
I'm re-starting this journey. Had 9 years of hard time in therapy... abreactive. This summer my daughter, 16, was in an auto accident, and became paralyzed (permanent) below T12. My husband and I (20 years married rock solid) spent 3 months in the hospital with her. I had been unable to walk due to my back being broken by a drunk driver 9 years before; and was post surgery 11 months when it happened. I had just been released back to work after 2 years work comp. After the initial shock and emergency, my personality dissolved. I'm so heartbroken. Then, I received news I have permanent spinal cord injury due to cervical arthritis. I have tremors, stutters, memory loss - I had an emergency surgery april 4 - four disks removed, and front and back fusion. Anyway, deep breaths, and back in therapy weekly. As my user name suggests,
I just want to be free.

Man! It's so true that if you think you're bad off, just look around and you'll surely find someone worse off!
