Hi Dotty!

We do hope you can find something to watch. Yeah, Prodigy can be a bit scary at times. Lower Decks is too adult.

Therapy went well today.

Hope you feel better,
Veronica.

(This is a response to the original post. Apologies if this is in the middle of a conversation)
I'm actually doing great today! I had a theraputic walk home in the rain and got to talk to some of my closest friends.
I'm freaking out a little because both I and my crush have suspected OSDD-1, and that's really difficult in and of itself, but to make matters worse, I am a genderqueer girl thing and my crush's body and host are both female as well as the slight majority of the more internal system.
Half of them are homophobic and the other half are either gay in either direction or children. I love every one of them...
Anyway it's not important but that's what this thread is for.

Wishing a fantastic day to every human and other living creaturs!

-Love from Passion(She/They)

This week has been so stressful for us...no wonder our blood pressure is so high it just seems to be one thing after another!

We got unexpected letter from benefits people demanding we answer a phone call tomorrow ....no email address on the letter to explain that we are deaf/speech impaired and can't answer...spent hours trawling internet looking for any email to any gov dept in the hope someone could pass the message along as if they don't get notification you can't take the call at time they specified they suspend your money.

After all that I was exhausted, went to lie down...after an hour doorbell went...a nurse had come back to retake bloods as some results had not come back..however she could not get any blood ..tried both arms three times...nothing...so had to go out really early in dark this morning (walk Mr Woof before school rush traffic) to get back and wait for the other nurse (that came last week and got blood straight away) to come back today and try again.

..plus wait to see if our prescription actually turns up today...the chemist has apparently changed hands! ...these people don't know to wait to give us time to get to the door.!..so we're in high alert mode to every noise or anything passing the window! ...whilst also constantly checking email in the hope someone from benefits place has emailed us to say they got the message , will send out forms and won't cut off our benefits.

We daren't put heating on incase we can't pay bills after friday but being cold for too long is probably whats making our veins shrink down and difficult to find and get blood out of... I'll just be glad when this week ends and hope it ends better than it started!

hi so some difficult thing we noticed, i noticed just now, is that i don't really see myself in the mirror. I thought I was beyond this, where I could see myself in the mirror, but i don't think i do. and that made me feel lonely for some inexplicable reason.

Beach is good. Cold. Windy. Not many people.

We like getting shells. We take our doggie on walks. But not when we look for seashells at low tide.

We got some good ones!! Today is our last walk at low tide to go winter shelling. It would be very special to find a few more shells today.

We took a long walk on the beach on Sunday, just before the big rain storm. We like to collect beach rocks, and we found a lot of good ones. Hope you find some great shells today, BeccaBee!

Our past couple of days have been pretty good. The husband is away on a trip, and we're actually enjoying being on our own, with just the two cats for company. We're staying on top of meals, and remembering to do things that the littles like. Today we have rehearsal for our play and it will be one of the scenes where we have a lot of lines. Memorizing things comes pretty easy for us, so we've pretty much learned them all, and that's a good feeling.

Oh, and today was the first day since saying goodbye to the dog that we got ourselves to go for the kind of morning walk that we used to take with him. We walked to the bluffs that overlook the ocean, and it looked really wild and stormy from all the rain that we had.

Hope others have a good day today.

I feel our system is preparing for another 'evolution' to become 'the future me' host (retired grey haired version of 'me'). ...Kate says she can integrate with me fully and wants our integrated name to be 'Lily', but I like being able to feel her and talk to her as a seperate individual (though I don't mind temp blending like when we visit sibling so she can feel his hugs too).

I don't know if I can cope knowing I can't talk and to and receive a reply from her or see her when I visit the inner world ever again

Can we not remain in a semi-blended state at the front to co-host but still have the freedom to seperate when we visit the inner world? I don't mind us being known as 'Lily' collectively (online at least we answer to the legal name out in the 'real world') when we're co-hosting together but I still want to be able to feel her presence and know she's there..

Jay is fully integrated and I can't feel her or talk to her as a seperate individual I just know some of my memories are actually hers ....I don't want that to happen where 'Kate' is concerned.

Hi TS
Do you have a visual klaxon for your phone? I had a phone call from disability to "prove" my disability even though I was 90% deaf at the time and had sent in audiology reports. There was maybe 2 minuets of garbled nonsense as they established I genuinely could not use a phone at all even with my hearing aids switched to t loop. I was sent a new assessment appointment this time via video call with a bsl translator. When that flopped because our sign language was still fairly basic the interpretors opinion on my communication abilities were used as proof of the severity of my deafness.

I don't know if it'll be the same for you but I'm guessing if you weren't born deaf then they are trying to "catch you out" because if they phone and you answer all their questions without significant struggle they will use it as proof that the hearing impairment isn't as sever as you make out.

Hi beccabee and gang today we dusted our rock collection we have some funky sea glass too.

Hi passion when two systems date its called interpolyamoury. we love our partner system its been 3 years and we are still getting used to spotting folk, they are osdd and we are did , learning to see the subtle shifts of osdd takes time but it is worth every second because the relationships you build are so vibrant and varied and intricate.

Hi

I was actually the teen host before we lost our hearing, Thea was the BSL user and she disappeared years ago now. We have lost memories from hers and Maddies period of been external host since our stroke. We usually use a minicom texpthone for the landline but don't have a working one right now as rarely used it we didn't replace it immediately when it broke.

Anyway we did email them then had to turn the phone off as it was too stressful waiting to see if they rang and knowing we couldn't answer, they did in the end get back to us via email that they had received the email in time and had not called so as far as we know it should still go in. We had asked for them to post out the forms/ a letter telling us what they wanted to know but we haven't received a letter this week, so no idea how long this is going to take or whether they've decided to move onto someone else or what!
