We had to say goodbye to our dog on Saturday, and now the mornings are so different and so hard. We don't really know what to do, because we would get up and get dressed right away to take him for a long walk around the neighborhood every morning, and now there's no reason to do that.

If we go alone, then we'll run into the same people we always ran into with their dogs and they'll ask where he is. But tomorrow we might put on headphones and go for a long exercise walk, like we couldn't do anymore with our dog, and then maybe no one will stop us.

Anyway, the days feel emptier and when we were coming home this afternoon, it was hard to know he wouldn't be there jumping up to say hi. And the cats miss him, too.

Sorry about your dog, it is awful. we went through the same when our old girl died because we still had Mr Woof then around 3yo...we still had to go out to walk him and people would stop us to ask us where our old dog was because they'd see the trailer wasn't on the scooter.

We wished they'd used their common sense and work it out instead of stopping us to upset us in public with what we considered 'blindly obvious ' questions..we're in a small village everyone knew her age etc..we'd then have to try to continue with Mr Woof's walk fighting back the tears.

You could try different routes for a while though we get that it gives you comfort as we still frequently stop at a bench we consider 'her bench' to watch the sun come up.

I think this was when Kit first took to coming out daily to get up really early and slip out in the dark to reach field/park for when the sun was coming up just so no-one else would be about!

that surgery pain sounds real bad, possum. I hope you were able to get some sleep. morphine makes us feel yucky too but pain sometimes is bad bad. I hope your pain gets better and doctor can help your pain.

Gangs. sorry for your doggie. losing a pet is hard. I hope people can put it together. I am very scared of lose my doggie. I hope you can take walks for you. that is a reason to walk. you matter, Gangs. and your doggie matters too. I put hearts for your doggie on the rainbow bridge. ♡♡♡

we take a long walk yesterday. was a good day. after we get vertigo but thats OK. today we have a cold so I don't know if we take a hike or exercise. now that we are fired and don't work... we try real hard to exercise and get strong again. make the body better we hope. we are throwing up very much. hope that soon tummy is quiet. I don't know if it's my brain or my babies making my tummy sick. our therapy day is Thursday and we will show the lady our art from the babies. maybe our tummy is better soon. we also write the doctor man. now that my brother is here. he takes care of me when I get sick. and he drives my daughter everywhere and they talk about internet and anime. she is much more better then before. I am happy for her. she likes to go shopping and get fancy slushies. I am glad she gets to do that now. I am glad I don't have to be a part of society no more. I'm gonna get my social security and walk in the woods away from all the people.... forever and ever.

Gangs..... maybe too soon. okay to tell me shove off. will you get another doggie one day? some people wait forever and Evers. some people hardly wait at all. we wonder how you feelings. you smart about stuff.

We do ok but we keep not sleeping good :(. Surgery sucks but it was a good surgery because we don't got a willy now and it makes me happy!!!! we been healing for 2 months now and that's stupid because the doctor told me I'd be better after a month and the pain is still getting 9/10 bad which is so dumb. Yesterday was a good day I went to a trans meetup and did art and art was good because I get to paint and draw and stuff!!! I had a friend there adn they helped me get the lights turned off before my brain made me scream which was good. I still can't talk but maybe I can talk again soon but if not I can't see my therapist because he's online and the thingy we use to talk to him doesn't got text chat :(.

Thanks BeccaBee. This was the only dog we ever had, so I don't think we'll ever get another one. Thanks for your kind words.

We've been finding this last week difficult with the freezing cold causing an arthritis flare up that has spiked the Tinnitus.

Also I realised when came back to the front that we've run of menopause supplement so Kit is in background alot in 'paranoid mode'. So re-ordered some more they were obviously helping with the mood swings better than we realised! Maybe that was reason behind LS' recent mini-meltdown this last weekend. She said the feelings were 'too big for her and scary'. I've felt more emotional myself than usual too...only Bobby and Jay have remained fully integrated.

Anyway some good news the new bed arrived yesterday so we at least got a good nights sleep....didn't want to get out of bed this morning!! ...like sleeping on a fluffy cloud! :D ... but it's so much easier to get from laying down to sitting up when our back/neck etc is bad. (it's one of those electric adjustable ones).

Well, it's good to hear that your new bed is helping.

We may have figured out why there's this room in our memory of an old school which scares up. We may have figured something out.

Hope everyone's well,
Violette

Thanks it is lovely and comfy, just don't want to get out of it on these cold dark mornings! Gale force winds and (more) rain here today so just put Mr Woof's breakfast down and come back to bed with the laptop and a cuppa! :D

Just been reading your last post on your journal... I wondered if Marcus could be an 'introject' type alter?

We seem to have figured out alot in these later years when we've been more isolated and have time for others to come out freely and figure stuff out themselves instead of being in a situation where we just constantly had to mask in autopilot.

We're in hospital again :(. We have another fever and I am cold and hot and it's stupid and they don't know why yet and they might not for 2 more days and today's thursday and it's a long weekend coming up which sucks because if my IV line has to come out they can't do that until tuesday.
I'm also still having surgery complications - my new bits aren't happy and they're hurting and i have to numb them every few hours so I'm not in a lot of pain.

Things are kinda weird brain wise, we're scared enough we're little but Bridie refuses to front after the last however much hospital so I'm small now. Normall I'm Dorothea but no I just got by Dotty which is a cute nickname that menas I'm crazy and I am crazy cos sometimes I hear gnomes.

I hope everyone has a good day and a good night!!!!

Sorry to hear you're in pain Dotty and not feeling good. I hope you feel better soon.

We experience chronic pain, especially through the winter months (we're in the colder Northern Hemisphere) and it is exhausting.
