Got my psych eval done, it looks like they are saying DID is likely. So yeah..
On the other hand it was hard cause they read back painful things that i don't like to think about today that have happened. But yeah I guess it's necessary.

Booted from a chat on this site?? We have found people really supportive here and we don't have an official diagnosis (not of DID ...have for the autism and physical issues).

I don't think you'll get booted from here???.....we have had more help from this site than any other place ...from Kit first coming on unsure to Yuna finding herself back here after our stroke with no idea why she felt drawn and no idea how to contact the others.

We believe we definitely have some kind of dissociative disorder but are unsure as whether we'd get the DID dx and don't want to risk getting dx with schizophrenia instead and getting put on medication or seperated from our dog (sectioned)...especially as we can kind of 'see the light at the other end of the tunnel' from here now we've found a way to reduce one of our major causes of feeling dissociated daily. (ie the constant screeching Tinnitus 24/7)

I hope you will stay on here

Hope everyone is doing ok?.. we seem to be perfecting the 'seamless slide' into each other more as opposed to the 'sudden switch'.

Early this morning I could feel Bobby helping with the physio session..we've managed 2 this week ..one 20 mins (Tues) one 30 mins today and have set up our next routine for the next one next week. (2 x 30 min ones for next week) on the Wii Fit game.

Then we did a meditation session and I could feel Yuna sliding in place as B left the front. We have some jobs to do today around the house..Yuna is also presenting in adult mode, she no longer seems to feel the need to age down to 15 just to be able to play on video games.

I think this is an effect from joining a group for older gamers and us seeing people in there in their 60's 70's + etc playing things like Animal Crossing, Zelda or Skyrim for the first time in their lives!! Older people seem to be getting the message that gaming can actually keep the brain active even if they can't physically do as much and help prevent or slow conditions such as dementia and parkinsons.

It's the first time I've managed to be able to hear my Soldier communicating with me today.

It was quite clear but it took me a few minutes to understand what was actually happening and who it was. This is quite a leap forward because now I know his communication style I will probably be able to hear him again.

He was letting me know that he's tired and old now and he doesn't really wanna fight anymore.

I wrote it all down on a piece of paper so we don't forget what he said.

My first brief post as Levi, I'm not up to a full journal entry yet!

Did manage to walk our dog and make dinner though. Kit is in the background for advice if I need it. We are planning to re-read 'The Haunted Self 'together at night now we have enough memory to be able to process and learn from what we just read and not instantly forget it.

Kit did read this book by themself in the past so is also hoping it will re-trigger some memories and thoughts that may help.

That's all for now

Hi all today's been pretty good overall. Found this wonderful forum, been doing some research into my symptoms when they pop up to find out what's happening. Took the doggos, scruffy, a Irish Terrier mix, and Mars, a full-blooded husky, out on a walk. Been playing balders gate 3 love the game and graphics. The story is absolutely amazing. Some like karlach a couple also really like astarion. I personally don't know why I think he's kinda rude honestly lol. For me it'd be gale he's so sweet. Someone wants to be with halsin too apparently lol. So it's fun playing video games and seeing the different perspectives. I like asking them all questions while I play to get a feel for what their tastes are.

***Trigger Warning: family legal changes*** Feelingwise not great... Because of this diagnosis we've had many massive changes in our family due to other physical diagnoses as well as my mental health per my psychiatrists and counselors recommendations so it's been very difficult. We just have too many triggers to keep up with our kid unfortunately. I just feel like my life was taken from me right now because of what and who this was all caused by. But in time it will be better and we will heal.
*** End Trigger Warning***

So it's been very mixed today. Sending happy, loving vibes to everyone today to help make it through.

Hi Airelle1993--welcome to the forum.

Hi to Levi and all of TheTriForce. And everyone else.

We got back from a trip last night. Got to see our grown kids and some of the husband's family. But he had to isolate starting Friday morning, so he didn't see any of them after Thanksgiving dinner Thursday night.

It's nice to be home and not in a hotel, but it sucks to have to wear a mask all the time for now while the husband is still contagious.

The littles like having the dog back, and getting to see the cats. We're trying not to get overwhelmed by chores and by life in general. We've been realizing that one of our motivations to procrastinate is as a kind of punishment for ourselves--that we don't deserve the good feeling of completing a task or being organized and on top of things, or having our surroundings look good. We might make a separate post about it, because it's been on our mind lately.

Hope everyone is having a good Monday (or I guess it could be Tuesday, depending on where you are).
