we're doing okay as of right now, i think. we had a therapy appointment today and hopefully are one step closer to figuring this plural thing out. though i will say things have been quiet since an incident we had yesterday involving an introject (and have had a couple pretty bad headaches). hopefully they're okay.

Things are quiet on the inside but outside has been busy trying to sort out prescriptions and the bloke who cuts our grass for us turned up too.

We got a date for audiology to come back with new hearing aids end of october so that will be a tiring day but worth it if they work for reducing the Tinnitus which is screeching atm on both sides!
Mr Woof wants his exercise so at least scooter motor seems to mask it for a bit.

Tired. Went to therapy today and he said that I'm doing really really well and that I covered a lot of ground today. Talked about some really difficult topics from bits of memories that I've managed to put together.

Got a bit of headache but had to login to reply to GP surgery anyway so thought I may as well call by here before I go lie down for a bit!

I bought the book 'Taking off the Mask' gives exercises for unmasking (in autism). I'll start reading it once I get rid of the headache but was hoping it might help me to know which bits are 'this me' as often I feel I'm only doing something because Kit likes this or LS wants to do it etc..and find difficult to know whether I'm doing anything because 'this me' actually likes doing it!

Quick message .... we hope Jay will be back full time soon but they have been finding the screeching Tinnitus levels a little overwhelming. In the meantime as we are now so close to the appointment to get the new hearing aids which may potentially fix the issue we don't want Jay getting complete burnout right before it. ..So I'm doing a few extra shifts up front until next Wednesday.

Hope everyone else is doing well

We've got the hearing aids and NO TINNITUS! :D :D (while we wearing them) everyone is so happy they all come to front to listen to how quiet the house was! :D (after audiologist had gone)

We can now guarantee that when someone comes to front they'll be no constant screeching Tinnitus to endure!

of course when we take them out its still there but we've talked to our GP also, who said the stress of constant T could cause higher blood pressure which in turn would 'turn up the volume of it' We need to break the cycle (more detail in journal) that will be a slower process to gradually reduce the volume for when we take the hearing aids out but for now we're just so happy that we've found a way to get a break from the relentless Tinnitus! :D

Everything was going fine today untill I let slip that I don't have a therapist or an official diagnosis which automatically means I'm fake apparently. So I was ousted out the chat. And now I've said that on here, I'll loose this place to. People are really $#%^ sometimes.

Yeah that sucks and you shouldn't have to feel as though you have to prove yourself to be accepted.

That sucks, but I believe that one person here who posts quite often doesn't have a diagnosis. In fact, everyone was helpful to us for a long time before we got a diagnosis.

Hope things get better,
Lilith.
