Its not possible for it to have simply fallen, as its pressed to each wall and held in place by a large, strong spring. My two cats were asleep on the bed, my wife at work, and all the doors were locked. My right wrist has been really bad (I may have broken a bone in it) sense I dug through rock and clay to dig her grave, so Steve weilded our pocket knife sense he's left handed, and we searched the house, room by room. All the windows and doors were tightly locked...
Humm... I don't know much about animals' spirits, but I do believe there is so much more than we see, know and understand.
If, she were angry or scared, I would do the same as with an angry or scared spirit, to show them love. So, if you believe it is her. Express her your love, and remember and try to show her the nice times you spent together. Help her heal from a traumatic experience.
Try also to forgive yourself. Some things are away from your control, and accidents happen. So don't blame yourself that hard, and maybe do a nice ritual to commemorate her.
I'm sorry you hurt your wrist.
