There was no real conversation with the driver. He starts pulling over and emma*l takes over and says, sternly, "I don't know where you are going but this is the wrong way", purposely laying her hand on the door (we were in the backseat) and giving direct eye contact. He says "Oh, I must be driving to the wrong place" and promptly drives us to our work place, with no questions of how to get there and gives no further eye contact.

That is REALLY weird. I would mention this to someone at the taxi comp he works for. Does he drive you all the time? If so, he knows the way..... Sounded very unsafe to me.
That sounds very scary about the taxi driver...
Good on emma*l! I hope things get better for her.
*end*Really good 'emma*l' stepped forward, she obviously saw the danger. Really sorry she feels the urges to hurt. she sounds great and shouldn't feel bad about herself. She sounds like a great protector.
Excellent - You go girl!
Bet you look lovely. Good luck.
Good luck today!
Good luck with the appointment LTT!
I'm still full of a head cold so still quite sulky but at least managed to get out the house to walk my dog today
