I'm having a tough time of it today. I'm posting this in here instead of my usual haunt.

Not sure if it's to do with the dissociative disorder or what.

Felt completely out of sync with the rest of the world since I woke up this morning. I'm even having problems communicating and understanding what is being verbally said to me.

Hope this passes soon.

Maybe I'm in a switching mode but I could be wrong. I do know that I've somehow gone back to wearing clothes that I was wearing about 27 years ago and I'm looking more like a boy again. Even got mistaken for a boy today.

I think I'll be OK..

Hi to everyone.

birdsong folks, glad your pain is lessening.

We're doing okay on some fronts. Same old, same old on other fronts. Getting caught up on tracking our finances, which can be depressing when unemployed. Still working with the career coach.

And we have T tonight.

Be well, all.

I wanna kick my streaming service in the ... well, CPU I guess?

Because we use a VPN to have a safer connexion, we cannot access to some of the series we want to watch. It's not even a problem of "not connected from the right country" coz we use an IP adress in our proper country, just from another city.

It's the whole "you are using a VPN so we wont show you this show lol" from the streaming service that goes onto my nerves. Even the VPN service doesnt get whats going on. We've been exchanging emails for a couple hours now. The shows are accessible only if we do NOT use a VPN.

Whats next? Having to keep our fingerprints visible at all time to make sure we're not "cheating" while using online services? How 'bout privacy? Or safety?

Moreover: streaming services they complain about "piracy" of their shows but when we wanna use their services, they dont allow to and throw a tamper tantrum coz they wanna know our full identity before giving us the goods.

This is going to kill the Internet I swear...

Hi Zami,

Of course the SUPER best security would be to let NOBODY see their shows.

Iain - 14, Colin - 17, Evan - 7, Cody - 16, & Host - the adult out front

When they say 'be yourself',
which one do they mean?

Just had a major "Whew!" moment.

As we've mentioned here, we've been unemployed since last September and are currently knee-deep in dealings with the Department of Labor (Unemployment office). We've got documents to fill out, scan, upload, etc. We really value our printer-copier-scanner combo that we've had for five or six years.

This evening it was able to scan, but it was unable to *save* scans as a file. We tried all the usual checks and even rebooted our computer. Still had the problem.

So we called the printer company's tech support and, long story short, after the agent took us through various steps, we solved the problem. Earlier this week we had renamed the default folder where we first save all our documents. But we'd forgotten to update that info in the scanner app. Wah-la! Problem solved.

Whew! :)
