I Am One (new host/system?) Please help *TRIGGER WARNING*

Hello all, it's been awhile...lost my password and no one took the initiative to RESET IT! Now, that is fixed.

I need some help. Yesterday, I had a very mani cday with excessive switching, a lot of triggers, alters switching between one another with a lot fo battling between the good and the bad...

Eventually all became silent and out of the chaos emerged a new ...something....calling itself One.

it claims to work on a higher level than the others. it claims that while it is aware of the others it works on a higher level of spiritual calm than them...definitely represents a shift in the thinking of the group on the 'other level'....???

this one seems to be asexual? both masculine and feminine... introspective, about the now, about the moment....zen, calm...seeing everything in the now...

So, since yesterday things have been calm on the surface, rippling underneath because no one knows what to think. some of 'the others' have gone dark, others just sit and look....

I/We are all kind of at a loss as we were JUST getting used to one another after a long fight with therapy/denial etc...

If anyone has some info or history themselves they can shed as to what the hell is happening that would be appreciated...

Are levels a thing? Can different alters function at different levels both inside our world and at a physical level in the 'normal' world...

This is a lot for my brain to process right now...

Thank you for sharing that, there are a lot of answers in there. It helps to know I'm not alone, and at the same time, it's all even more confusing now....I never think I get a handle on all of this, and then something happens to completely validate that!

I have been going through feelings of denial too lately It's all so confusing when you can't wrap your head around what's happening and that nothing is real when your alters are convincing you and showing you evidence of everyone's existence. Birch, Amy and I have been spending a long time talking about levels because our whole system needs to change and our roles are as well (because of two new 'souls' becoming aware/emerging).

We came to the conclusion that there is a thing called 'Mind Manifestation' and that whatever we need, we can create on the inner, whether its a comforting space, to multiples layers that hold alters that have a more 'higher based' function (such as introspection and serenity in moments of chaos), and not necessarily 'personalities' of their own.

We believe it is possible for there to be many 'places' or levels and it is possible to function on/in both places at once (mostly because we do it a lot), although makes our brains kind of fuzzy.

sounds like this alter might just know more about the system than most, or might be a type of gatekeeper, or possibly an ISH or have ISH qualities, or something like that. (in relation to our system, they sound like a mixture of hawk and maiingan).
