New and learning to cope with DID

I'm glad you found this site too. You should try to get Griffon to post about his frustrations. He (And you) may be surprised to See how many people will reply with Agreements and stuff.

He refuses to talk basically point blank unless someone really annoys him, he has a bad habit of flaring up at my partner and it's really hard because I've only recently told her about my condition and I'm finding it really difficult to explain it to her. I hate it when he does it though she normally ends up crying and then I'm the one left feeling bad while he goes back into his shell of bleh.

Hey Griffin. I understand how it is. People be F*ckin with you and those around you. Causin ripples in the pool bru, then they won't shut the F*ck up and go away, even when you tell them to. They don't seem to see that they're only breaking things and F*ckin sh*t up.

He's shut down again now whenever somebody addresses him directly he backs off like he tries to "protect" us but he doesn't want anyone to know he's there doing it, I don't know what his problem is. It really is infuriating sometimes, I'd be happy to listen if he talked to me but all I ever get is the cold shoulder until he's ready to yell at someone

Steve was like that at first... I know how sucky it is.

i hate being in public everybody is always watching judging I want them to all go away why do we need to leave the house food and other things can be bought to us why do we have to go out there they're all against us everyone always has been and they always will be can't they just go away

not everyone's against you. we're outside your house, we might not live near you, but we're outside your house, and no one here is against you. it might seem like everyone's against you, but things aren't always what they seem to be, nor what they feel like at times.

with darkness, there will always be light, and vise-versa. they may be unbalanced at times, but there can never be one without the other. every night eventually ends and with dawn rises the sun.


and it might seem like everyone's always watching and judging you, but they might not be. have you asked them? do you know for sure what they're thinking? are you them? are you inside their mind? until you know for sure, it's best not to assume anything or jump to conclusions yourself.


luna always thinks people are watching her, judging her, even talking about her! when in reality, they're not. in reality, half the time they don't even notice we're/she's there. in reality, she's just another person, another face in the crowd, another stranger that they don't really take any notice to.

i don't care. we have a couple grumpy pants in our system. it's ok.

no i'm not in your head. but i can relate to how you feel. and we have alters who feel similarly to how you do. and i know about hiding stuff from people. i used to hide myself all the time. and hide others too. and hide symptoms. and hide feelings. and hide what i wanted to say. the list goes on.

and everything i said has a valid point and is valid if you think about it without letting emotions get in the way. you don't have to agree with it, because we can always agree to disagree, but everything is said does have a valid point. things can have valid points even if people disagree about them.

griffon has every right to post here and say stuff just as much as the rest of you. you all have equal rights, to a reasonable extent, to speak, share this life, express yourselves, etc. all you have to do here is add a trigger warning if you think it might be questionable, or confrontational, or triggering to others in any way. that's all.


and griffon, if you don't know who i am, then what do you know about me? and the things i have to hide from people? and what goes on in my head? and why would you be mean to someone you don't even know who isn't trying to upset you or be mean or anything like that? i mean no ill-will towards you.
