I feel trapped **Trigger**

Postby user110867 » Wed Mar 06, 2013 1:53 pm

I feel so trapped right now. Trapped in my own freaking body. :(

I want out. Just to get some air. I can't take it.

I can't stand this feeling right now! Is there any way to relieve this feeling of being trapped inside of your own body? I need it relieved. This is like being trapped in a small box with somebody else. What is going on here?!

I'm claustrophobic as it is. :(

Can you do something to detract yourself from the body? Like watching a movie or doing something that will keep your focus for a while? :)

I'm in school so I can't. I have a computer class at the moment and I can't focus because Logan and I feel like we're going insane from this trapped feeling. I've never experienced it like this before. I want to scream.

I have, though.

Does this ever happen to you?

I personally don't get that feeling but I've heard of many here who have had that. Have you tried some relaxation or grounding techniques? :)

Yeah, I feel a lot better now. Thank you. Hopefully I'll see my therapist today.

What? She's awful. She doens't know what she's even doing.

I'm glad :) I hope you get to see her.

Is the pink text Lori? I'm sorry you feel that way. Do you think she can learn in time? :)

She always wants to waste time. She wants to sit around painting nails and playing jacks while we try to talk things out with her. It's like she's just oblivious. I just don't feel like we're being taken seriously.

That doesn't sound very professional. Have you tried to tell her that you don't feel like you're being seen there? :)

We can hardly get a word in because the T talks so much. She keeps going over coping skills and all that and hardly gives us a chance to speak. She also makes me feel weak and guilty for being depressed, telling me that I can 'manage it'. :/ I don't think she believes in DID either. She hasn't evaluated me and she says it's probably stress. I would get a new therapist, but I don't want to stress out my current guardian. I'll have to if this continues, though.

and she knows I have gender issues and she is insisting that she teaches me how to be more lady-like. What the heck does that have to do with anything???

That doesn't sound therapeutic. If I were you I'd look for someone else. Your guardian will have far more stress if you do not get help, than by changing T's in the end, I would think. Thinking of you all.
