Someone was Pretending to be me/Possible Clone Alter

Liam: Ok this is really really freaky. I woke up again, it has been about 6 days since I've been out. I am pretty sure there is an alter who is a clone of me. At least everyone thought he was me. As soon as I woke up Grayson talked to me about what I remembered about the therapy session today. This is normal because it is expected in the team that other alters will be out during the therapy session. So usually I get asked this question. I said, "I haven't been out since last Thursday what are you talking about?" He said, "You asked me to co-front with you because you wanted to try it during therapy. It was really successful, then Ellis and Alice came out to talk." I don't have any recollection of this. I posted before on how to locate alters and got some great answers so I don't need help with that. I would like to know has anyone had an experience where an alter in your system looks and acts exactly like you, but isn't you? I'm not sure if this is DID or some other type of disorder. Everyone in the system and in the outside world thought it was me until I woke up. I don't know what triggered the switch and I am highly confused. Please help.

**Also, a note to the alter who pretended to be me. If you did this, please tell me why you decided to switch with me on this thread. We'll help you so don't be scared about us being mad for what you did. A nice lady named Alice will help you with what is bugging you, so you can come out now.**

I'm the therapist here in Team SAF. I won't hurt you, I can promise that. I would like to have a chat with you so we can discuss why you switched. You are probably very scared about what happened. So, that is why as soon as you come forward I will start play therapy with you. Play therapy is a type of therapy where you talk about stuff that troubles you through play. It is very fun and very helpful. We have a lot of people that you will like meeting. I'm not sure what age you are, but we have people of all ages in our system. I hope you find the courage to meet all of us.

London: Well I guess the case is closed. If you are wondering it was me. I was scared by Alice approaching me so suddenly. She noticed something was up and that I took back control. Then she just seemed to approach me. I was very scared at first, but I am alright now. I would like to describe myself. My name is London, obviously. I am a 18 year old gentleman. I rather not go into specifics right now on my history since I hate people doing that.

Wow! This is awesome that you're able to communicate so well and that this was resolved so quickly and everything worked out well and such!! Congrats to everyone, and hello and welcome to London! (Someone in here likes your name, by the way). We hope that things continue to improve for all of you! And London, feel free to post anything here you're comfortable with, from questions to rants.

London: Thanks I like my name too. I am doing rather well right now and so are all the other alters. Oh my middle name is Rain, like one of the alters in your system. I think my middle name is cool because it pretty much always rains in London, England. I did post on the littles thread about my stuffed bear that I got when I was a child. I named it William and it is a very cool bear. I will definitely post more in different threads, especially if there is something I want to talk about.

Interesting choice of first and middle name, London. Together they create a nice, rather unique name. Thank you for sharing it with us. ~Rain

That's cool. We have a stuffed cow named Moo Cow (but if you posted in the littles' thread, you probably already knew that). Glad to hear it! There's plenty of threads and topics out there!
