I'm just curious. Is it possible for there to be a co-con alter watching life from within an internal
but still expriencing life but without interruption from other alters as if there is a wall or room you are watching from. Like a host not in control only truly aware of the life the body is leading.
a dissasociated being/alter internally.

I... think I understand what you're saying, but I want to make sure I've got this right.
From what I understand you're asking if a host can be a host without actually doing anything and instead be watching/experiencing what happens to the body without actually being the one in control?

In that case, it absolutely is. It happens to me all the time... As in I'm always "here" but I'm not actually the one doing or saying the things that are being done and said. Now, I'm not diagnosed with anything but mild depression, so take this as you will.
So I guess I change that absolutely to an "absolutely if I do indeed experience the things I experience"
Which is probably a less solid an

Excuse me for interrupting. Yes, this is possible. DD's are very personal so all may not share exactly the same symptoms, but this sort of thing does happen in the case of Gabrielle. In fact, it is happening at this moment even if she doesn't quite believe it.
A pleasure to meet you, lonelykitten, I am Vernadael Teriyn, though I may sometimes go by Eric Shepard.

Isn't that the same thing as being fully co-conscious? Or am I confused and missing something?

I'm pretty sure I'm just the confused one. Yeah, I'm pretty sure that's being co-conscious. I'm not always clear on where to apply terminology. Sorry

don't be sorry!! Oh gosh- I was just trying to understand. because I feel that too and my T says it's co-consciousness. I was just trying to understand if what was written in the post is different from what I experience or if it is the same.
