We, like HumptyDumpty delete many posts before we press send. We struggle with feeling like we belong, so we often feel like our posts/presence are unwanted. That, and we're paranoid about certain therapists reading the site. Which is a damn shame cause I doubt that she actually would, but it still makes us miss out on a lot of sharing. Even if she would read here, it doesn't mean that we have to hide from her at all!
We have had a crisis time, a quiet time, a more or less permanent relapse, and we have been in the hospital. But we're starting to get okay now. I hope everyone else is coping too. And again, thanks for caring.

Shay surprised many of us with how many usernames she had remembered.
(Not to say that someone isn't memorable, just stating that the extent of her memory was surprising in general).

All understandable reasons, though I am sorry that you feel like your posts are unwanted (I assure you, they are), and I am sorry that you struggle with that paranoia.

I am glad to hear that you are getting better, and am sorry for your struggles. It is good to hear from you.

We are coping, and managing. We have been better, but I am sure that we will reach that point again in time.

(And you are most welcome, though there is no need to thank us for caring).

Hi you guys,

we're quite flattered we've made it onto the list although we've only joined a few weeks ago - thanks for thinking of us! :-)

We're a bit on and off, mainly because it is specific individuals of us who post here and they cannot be out all the time. Also, we're having to deal with the fact that some of us routinely start flame-wars in environments that others would like to peacefully enjoy, so sometimes its better to not post at all for a few days until they've cooled down a bit (there was a debate with Quantum in another thread that we decided to just cut off because it was going to escalate in a totally non-productive way. Essentially, one of us starts a fight, then another decides precisely for this reason that this is not a safe environment and we all get evacuated again - we're trying to avoid that dynamic).

But we're here!

Thank you for the nice post, Tomboy.

*safe hugs for those who want hugs, high fives for those who want high fives and nose bumps, gently nips and tail wags from Ellie, Violet and Scout (the other dog).*

We're sorry we haven't been here a lot lately. We've been pretty triggered by some events that transpired offline and then some of the posts here, so we're just holding back. We do still read the forum semi-regularly when we can and post when we're able.
We're not invited.

We're all still here :)

Hey no worries :) Life is just a little nutty right now and Sam's tired, but we are all alive and kicking, going through a bit of downswing thing but we'll make it out. Got a new little rescued gecko who's got some neurological problems so we're all focused on that. Doing a bit of meandering in the fog, but we'll come out at some point soon.
Sam (host, gender unknown), Mars (male) . Firebird (female) . Leopard (female?, nonhuman) , 'Little One' (female, approx 6) Gwar (male)

Will be updating/changing colours/names etc as we go

You are welcome. :)

I can completely understand that. Often when one of us is the only one posting for the most part, it is because others are not out to post, (although we really should begin using such times to simply not get on here as often, but we are working on that). (As for this thread, I am often replying for not only myself, but for Shay, Cassie, and Cassandra (and others) as well).

I am familiar with that cool-down tactic. I try to exercise it with us as well.

It is good to hear from you and know that you are still around and doing well.

I am sorry to hear that you've been triggered lately, and hope things get better for you soon. It is good to hear from you and know that you are still around. (Ray wishes me to let you know that she misses you, Ellie, Violet, and Scout).

Indeed. :) We have come to realize that most of what we remember, especially for details, is actually thanks to Shay, (or reinforced by her memory confirming our's).

(And you are welcome :) ).

Shay does not understand the common and understandable difficulties with posting here, (probably because this is the first place where she was well-received and welcomed while completely being herself, so she views this place as being safe for everyone if it can be safe for her), but it is certainly understandable, and I am sorry you struggle with posting. We are glad to hear that you are still around and read, though, and hope you are doing well.

That is perfectly fine and understandable. And I am glad that the boyfriend is good to you. :) It is good to hear from you and know that you are still around, so thank you for posting, Kara. Hope you are doing/continue to do well.

I am glad to hear that you have a positive focus through the rescued gecko, and hope the gecko does well, too. I know about the fog all too well, and hope that things clear up for you soon.

Hey
We are still around. Kero is okay, working hard at trying to build a life. Due to trust issues we will never post much although in the past we have been more forthcoming. The system we find ourselves in is very much like a child's mobile - one part wiggles too much and the whole unit becomes unstable until stasis can be regained. Posting triggers trust. It's a rough cycle but it is our cycle.

We have watched many members come, grow, struggle, mourn, change, find a working balance for themselves and go. Their process gives us hope that someday we to will be able to maintain a working balance. Until then - picture us sitting quietly in the corner of the room - learning, listening, muching on popcorn (tasty stuff), and wishing all who visit here rest and peace from the struggle at hand.

I can certainly understand those reasons, and I am sorry for the rough cycle you're struggling with, and hope it improves for you over time. :) Thank you for letting us know that you and Kero are still around, it is good to hear from you. (And thank you for that lovely picture of you painted by your words. Shay wishes for me to share with you that she prefers kettle corn, but agrees that it is tasty stuff and a great snack). We hope you are doing and continue to do well, or that things improve for you so that you can be doing well soon.
