Your alters and their identity objects.

I am new to having my alters out and actually interacting as themselves. Well, only one really has introduced himself to other people as such, but every time he is out he has a hat that he wears, and if he can't get to the hat at the time, he is kind of cranky. Does anyone else experience this?

Each alter is going to have their own personality traits, including neuroses. One that needs to wear a hat would be totally in the norm.

My Jessica gets upset if she can't find her stuffed mammoth, that my husband gave her. That's why we try to keep it on the couch so she can always get to it.

Charlie has to have his favorite stuffed toys on the bed or else he starts crying

I have a pair of platform boots that I have kept for years even though they are broken.

Chaz has a sonic T-shirt Channelle got him.

Channelle Has a cute black skirt and camo jeans she is very attached to

Claureshia(deceased in a womb of sorts at the moment) has a long green skirt, and a red dress made in the 70's.

Logan loves his beanies. He has a grey one that he is obsessed with.

Lulu has a blue pillow case that I grew up very attached to as a child..

I'm not sure about the others yet.

I wear beanies all the time, and Andy refuses to wear any of them. Instead he found an old diamond backs hat in the closet that belonged to my mom and decided he wanted it. I asked him why he wouldn't just wear one of my beanies, and be told me because they were mine. But whatever makes him happy, I try to do. He is 16 and kind of a little obnoxious, like hijacking the body yesterday and playing 7 hours of mortal kombat.

I kind of disregarded this thread's relevance to me, but then I remembered my Kabar Tanto. You ask me, and I'd say it's nothing special, but you wouldn't think it from the way I sometimes stare at it...
