Yes thank you that's exactly what I mean people keep telling us take a pill it will fix everything.. I believe anything that changes mood = alters alters if you get what I mean. which isn't good for us.

I do. I hated the meds they had us on for our bipolar mood swings.

We were lucky, too. Lucky to take a psychology class in high school and read about this stuff.

I would hazard a guess that a wide percentage of individuals treated with antidepressants are not benefiting from the pharmacological effects of the drugs themselves but rather a placebo effect. Scientific literature indicates that patients treated for depression or anxiety will worsen in response to antidepressants, developing symptoms of greater severity in response to the drug itself. The chemical imbalance hypothesis is mainly myth. It is an outmoded way of thinking. Depletion of serotonin in individuals does not cause depression. There is a continuity error. These drugs are agents that alter brain chemistry. With or without a diagnosis, they would modify the brain. It is comparable to treating social anxiety disorder with gin. People are charmed by the idea of a simple fix to a complex problem, but it is more a fantasy. It is respectable for you to find them an adverse solution. Do not bow to their pressure. -- L.

This sounds a lot like Kat when she's getting on Cassandra when Cassandra all doubt-y and stuff. In fact, this sounds almost exactly like the interactions between Kat and Cassandra.

I don't have much to say, or much time to say it in (we were supposed to be signing off right now), but I just wanted to let you know Jacob, that you're not alone in your struggles, Kat goes through the same frustrations. And G, you're not alone in your struggles either, Cassandra goes through the same doubts and worries and thought processes.

I also wanted to say that I hope you are actually listening to each other and reading what each other rights and taking time to "take in" and process what you've all written and such. Communication and understanding is so important to work out frustrations and help with situations like these.

I hope things get better for you all soon, and I'm still sending what good thoughts I have your way, Jacob.
(Also sending what good thoughts I have to G and everyone else as well).

Jacob, it sounds like despite your frustrations, you're doing a great job taking care of things and trying to help G, and I'm glad she has you.
Just maybe try to understand it from her perspective- she could have a "voice of doubt/denial" that she hears and you don't, or she could be having a hard time accepting everything which is normal and understandable, or something like that. Reasons for people behaving the way they do aren't excuses, but they are explanations, and they do help to make things more understandable and make more sense.

And G, please listen to Jacob and read what he writes and such. You're only hurting yourself by ignoring parts/alters of yourself.

Hope things get better soon.

Could be triggering read with caution

writing/translating for lucalsipher -Marky boy

I'm a creator to you all i'm a god

the world. the girl.
the place you live is so small minded
i'm real but not here
BUT not in this girls mind
she is connected deeply to it

after her death I keep
creating and destroying
i was here long before most

I'm not here to be a loving ball of sunshine
that sun in your galaxy is your god
it's your light
but I'm in a different place

what spiritualist would call a different plane(think thats it -marky boy)

Communication is poor. Poor poor poor. Who is this? Probably many typing. Inside hurts right now... Hard to give answers, okay? But it was read. What tomboy wrote.
You're too nice... None of this can be real though. I'm a writer, I'm an actor, and I have a vivid imagination.
Even denying my existence now?

###$ what the hell was that? Jesus that was weird. It was like the wall Alyce put up but like. Even thicker. Agh. As much as I hate it, we gatta get back to a therapist. ###$ Rachel though. I don't know about her.
Jacob, it sounds like despite your frustrations, you're doing a great job taking care of things and trying to help G, and I'm glad she has you.

You don't... mean that, do you? No one's ever said something like that about me...

A voice only she can hear? What?

I'm in a lot of pain right now and rather tired but I still wanted to reply while we're on here.

Yes, I did mean that, every word I said. Fully and wholly. 100%.

By a voice only she can hear, with us, the alter who is in denial and was promoting denial throughout the system could only be heard by Cassandra (unless we were with them/facing them "in person" inside, face to face). So it could be that G hears things from a part/alter that's in denial that you and others don't. It could also be that she gets more/stronger doubt/denial "whispers" than anyone else does, and that only she gets them (not being another alter, but simply being doubt/denial itself, much like how one will have that nagging voice when they have low self esteem that's their mind/them telling them stuff like "You look fat in that" or "You look ugly even with makeup", etc. It's not an alter, it's more like... a conscience, I guess, except it's not the conscience, it's just like one).

(And G, I don't care if you're a writer, or an actor, or have a really good imagination. This is real. If it wasn't, you wouldn't have any symptoms whatsoever, and nothing would ever, ever, be out of your control. Even if you're aware of everything happening, that does not mean you're in control, and you still have symptoms from what I've read. Please don't be like Cassandra (who's also a writer and has good imagination by the way). She keeps thinking that just because she's almost always co-conscious and aware of everything happening (yet not in control), she must be faking or something, and it gets so tiring and hurtful to try and convince her otherwise and watch her run in circles with the same thinking that we keep disproving over and over again. This is all very real, even if it doesn't seem/feel like it to you at times. You're only hurting parts/alters of yourself by ignoring them and denying they exist, and since all alters are parts of the same person, technically that means that you're only hurting and ignoring yourself, which isn't healthy. And just because alters, and you, the host, are all parts that make up the same person, that doesn't mean that this is fake, nor does it mean alters aren't real. You are all puzzle pieces that make up the same picture, but as separate puzzle pieces, you can be very different from each other, and the separate pieces that create a whole/the same picture are very real).
