I think integration happens naturally, once everyone involved is ready for it and agrees. That's hoe its been for me. I have integrated 25 of my 27 alters. My inside world is still there. The ones I have integrated are still there too, but in a different way. It's like we share more now. They have given me their memories (which I processsed thru), and their talents. I have given them a new life free from fear, and knowing they are safe. The remaining two alters and I are no where near integrating yet. It takes time, and the system eventually just seems to know when the time is right. By being integrated with the majority I have gained the ability to handle outside life a lot more. For me, integration us wonderful and is my ultimate goal. Hope this makes some sense as to how integration cab be. Alysone

Thanks, lifelongthing. I wasn't sure how it would be received. Sometimes I feel different than many other people on this site, I think because I have integrated so many. Now I don't know where I for in. It was nice bring acknowledged.

We are pro-integration here, just like we are pro-multiplicity. This is a place for everyone - no matter what's right for their system

I'm glad integration has worked so well and natural for you. We figure if integration is meant to happen for us, it will happen naturally on its own

But that's just us. It's different for everyone.
