This is crap, yo! My d@mn host is insisting I don't exist! Despite the poor confused thing can hear me all the time. It don't be makin' any sort of sense around here in this darn head. I'm tired of being ignored! It mutherf#!king reeks like some godd@mn toilet backing up. I have things to say, important things. Fine if she won't listen to me directly, I'll announce it to the whole world.

I'd like to say that even if Jo hasn't been able to accept you (all) yet, you're accepted here and this is a good place to get support meanwhile (and during and after..)

Actually, schizophrenia doesn't have alters or others taking over their body or the time loss. It can be very hard to accept, but for her to accept the others - she also has to accept this.

We go by Miranda, like the moon of Uranus we were once split apart, but gravity drew us together again. D@mn girlie, even I don't know how many make up us. I'm afraid dear, we know nothing more of our making. We don't plan on settling down with colors, as any of us could talk and the universal memory we often share has no need to remember such a thing.

This is ridiculous. I honestly don't know if I can deal with this one. I would have gotten over having ONE new alter in a couple of days. How in the heck am I suppose to handle having some sort of collective?! Where does that even come from? How does it even happen?

I think a perfect similar example to your new collective of alters (yes, they are alters, and yes, you DO have DID as it is the only thing that explains everything), would be to take a look at Galaxies' system (hope it's ok that I said that). I mean, there's warriors, a warship, Ells, forests, a whole 'nother religion, just a perfect similarity to a collective, really.

Or, look at polyfragmented DID people. They have hundreds/thousands of alters, and some of them are "separated" into groups, floors, levels, collectives, etc.

DID still has explanations for this new collective. As we tend to always say yet often forget, "With DID, anything is possible".

There are alters who do not believe in DID, though they realize that they are multiple and that they are parts/others (aka alters). These alters often have either come up with their own explanation (usually as an attempt to make sense of it early on), they are in denial themselves about the DID, they were taught an explanation by someone else that they still hold on to, or have a mixture of things going on (such as having their own explanation and being in denial).

This is not your imagination, this is not schizophrenia, this is not something spiritual, (no offense meant to anyone), this is DID or at the very least, DDNOS-1. You have the symptoms, the experiences, and the alters to prove it.

Some parts of DID do come from imagination, however. Keep in mind, it's a mixture of separated neurons and a child's imagination that help alters to be created/developed. So, your fascination with the Miranda moon could've been a sign that it was influencing parts of you, and apparently also providing parts of you with an explanation to what was going on/why things were the way they were. Alters can often have stories, beliefs, explanations, etc., that are influenced by things we learn and our imaginations. I mean, if we can have inner worlds and such, which are totally influenced by our imaginations, then we can have alters, stories, explanations, etc., that are influenced by our imaginations. But that doesn't make them false, that doesn't make them fake, that doesn't make any of this false or fake, and it doesn't mean everything is just "made up". Your alters are very real (as one can see from this post alone), your symptoms are very real, your experiences are very real, and your DID/DDNOS-1 is very real.


I can understand this being overwhelming to you, but know that this is a good sign of progress and an amazing step forward!! Not only did this collective feel ready to come to you and make themselves known, but they felt that you were ready to know about them! You're learning more about yourself, and that's great! (Great progress, too). Things can be a little rough and unstable with "new discoveries", but try to remind yourself of the positives, and remember that this will help you a lot overall/in the long run.

I do hope you feel better soon. Definitely take it easy, and do things to help you relax, calm down, feel comfortable, feel comforted, etc.

It definitely sounds like a multiple inside a multiple, or some kind of collective, yes. It can happen sometimes, and there are different theories for it, but mostly - it's just another way to make sure you survive as best you can. This is DID - it's the only thing that can explain it. But it's hard to accept and it hurts. I'm sorry you're going through this. I'm pretty switchy right now so I'm sorry I'm not making any sense. Feel free to PM me or anything if you want to talk.
