When you're pissed at your alter for forgetting the lighter in the bathroom.
When you have to smoke and you have no idea where the lighter is so you start to panic looking for it everywhere, having absolutely no idea where "you" left it, so you find another lighter, go to the bathroom and then find the other lighter there and at first you absolutely have no idea why it is there, but then you remember that it was your alter who left it there and you get pissed at him.

Lol what a mess....

None of us smoke so we've never had to experience this. I know someone wants to try alcohol though.

When you're near wine or any other alcohol and you start to get anxious because you get the urge to drink it even though you know you can't because you're underaged.

It isn't as good as it's hyped up to be. :p

When you don't drink or smoke but you wake up with a hangover and stinking of cigarettes :(

When the train of thought doesnt make sense because it is not thought.

when one of your alters is pyromanic
When they protest over the word alter because they are not
When right now it feels not me writing but mere watching

When you know you wrote something for an hour but the paper is just empty and it took probably place in headspace.
We are with many. How many is unknown.

When you wake up in the morning and start finding evidence that things you "dreamt" about actually happened. ._.

when you wake up and you have no idea which alter fronting, until you feel tics and hear a British accent

When you clearly have an American accent but your alter speaks weird British

When you get mad at one of your alters for co-hosting without your consent

Is there such thing as an American accent? I've never understood that term.

When you have phobias or get annoyed by things you were never annoyed by before and find it's because an alter has that phobia/pet peeve. An example for me is I never used to be bothered by people touching me. Now I am. Even if that person has consent to touch me, it's very hard to make it seem like I'm comfortable with that.

Yeah. We sound just as foreign to foreigners as they do to us, and to themselves, they sound normal. Accents probably even vary a little from state to state; I've been told I have a "New York accent". :?

Which doesn't make sense to me because there are all kinds of people/accents in New York.

Actually, in America in general. ._.

Actually, all over the world.

Oh god, f*ck my brain.

Like how I'm told I have a Bostonian accent, even though I don't. I pronounce my Rs.

When you have to stop talking because an alter with an accent surfaces and you're trying to hide it.

Absolutely yes. Actually, there are many accents variations in the USA and I can easily tell the differences. There are variations between states and between different parts of the same state and even different parts of the same city.

I've been told I have an American accent by an American cousin when I was there in the USA, which makes sense since I've been exposed to it all my life even if I don't live there.

When you find yourself walking to different rooms in your house because you're very dissociated but it doesn't make sense to you since you're not even switching, so you just keep walking like a zombie, then end up in a room and then have no idea what the hell you're doing there.
Snap back to reality, Joe!
